3rd Person POV
The Hideout. Seaview, Connecticut. Sunday, September 1st. 12:05pm
"Gwen, stop hitting your sister!" Evelynn Collingsworth grabbed hold of the small blond girl's wrist pulling her away from the clone that was currently sending daggers in her direction.
"But mommy! She started it!" Gwen screamed making onlookers glare at the dysfunctional family.
"Daxon, take Gia!" Evelynn hissed shoving the other twin to a bored looking Daxon who sat patiently sipping on his 3rd Jack and coke.
The lovely Collingsworth clan decided that after a long day on the road they should all get dinner. Daxon suggested they go to The Hideout, a local café next to campus that had great food and if you knew the bartender, didn't mind slipping something a little extra in your drinks.
"Ev, chill." Daxon scolds his spastic stepmother all while pulling the blond curls out of his little sister's face, who glares up a him adoringly.
"Why do you have to go back to school?!" Gia pouts and Daxon only chuckles.
"Because that's what big kids do." He explains and finally notices his father look up at him from behind his phone screen at him.
"I'm going to be a big kid someday!" Gwen announces puffing out her chest and Gia giggles into Daxon's shirt.
"She's already big." She whispers, referring to her slightly pudgier half and Daxon laughs at the siblings' antics.
"Evelynn can you take the twins to the restroom. After dropping off Daxon we'll be on the road again." Vance Collingsworth sits his phone on the table and Evelynn agrees standing up and making the twins follow.
"This rebellion of yours has to stop. In ten minutes I'm dropping you back at school and I won't be there to keep you out of trouble." Vance says sternly and Daxon plays dumb with a coy smile on his lips.
"What rebellion?"
"What rebellion? Are you forgetting that wedding fiasco only happened 2 weeks ago? Fighting with the St. Xavier girl? Not to mention your relations with that 25-year-old bridesmaid. What were you thinking?! And this_" Vance pauses to pick up his son's soft drink and takes it back with a cringe.
"How did this even come to be?!" Daxon knows he must be referring to his spiked soda but shrugs it off with confusion.
Vance only rubs his temples as he glares daggers at his son. "I will not have you single handedly take down the empire I have built for you. If I get one call from the school this semester I'm yanking, you out of Rothwell and making you attend some public school in the city!" Daxon should have been scared. After all, public school in the city is a bad word to the elitist South Hampton wannabes. Which is why he knew his father would never send him there. His son in public school?! The horror!
"The moment you send me to public school is the moment you shake hands with Marcus St. Xavier. What was it you told me about making empty threats again, Dad?" Daxon's smirk widened as he father's scowl deepened.
"Your mother would be appalled if she saw you now." Vance finishes off his own mixed drink and Daxon stands, staring down at his empty shell of a father.
"Then I'd love to see what she'd think of you." Daxon picks up his Jack and coke and gulps down the remainder of it.
"Tell the twins and Ev I said bye. I'm walking back to campus." Daxon storms out of the quaint restaurant and onto the sidewalk of the small town that surrounded Rothwell.
The town itself was never that busy but today it was full of students and parents walking around shops and restaurants. Daxon watched the families in annoyance wondering if their smiles were genuine or just put on to set the illusion that they were really happy.
He was making his way past Lola's boutique, a favorite of the Rothwell girls' population, when he bumped into someone, dark hair masking his vision as the person in question steadied herself in his arms.
"Dax?!" The girl in question was none other than Selena Martinez, one of Daxon's conquests last school year and her dark almost black eyes sparkled when they caught sight of the gorgeous blue eyed boy before her.
"Hey Sel." Daxon regains whatever composure he had lost moments ago and looks down at the doe eyed girl with his signature smirk.
"How was your summer? Did you spend most of it in South Hampton?" She asks and Daxon runs a hand through his dark brown hair.
"Most of it. Would have been better if you were there though." He says cheekily and the girl doesn't miss a beat as she pulls him off to the side so onlookers can't see them and starts running her hand down his toned chest.
"You are so bad if you think I'm just going to jump back into bed with you after months." The Brazilian girl tosses her dark hair over her shoulder. The thought hadn't actually crossed his mind but after Selena's innuendo it was starting to. Daxon's navy blue eyes ran her up and down, her olive skin extremely visible through her thin spaghetti strapped dress. He pulled his forearm up to examine the time on his silver Rolex then his eyes went back to meet Selena's impatient ones.
"I never said that but if you wanted to catch up T. J's at a lacrosse meeting and my room's empty." He raises a brow and Selena bites down on her lip contemplating what to do. She had true feelings for the playboy and she knew that jumping back into bed with him wouldn't change where they stood. But with one last look in those dark blue eyes of his, she was lost to all the pride she had worked so hard to build up the summer she had away from him.
"I guess we could catch up." She tucks a black lock behind her ear and the two make their way back to Daxon's room.
He had originally thought that convincing her to bed him again would be a little bit of a challenge considering the argument they had that followed from her finding him in bed with Massie Copeland but as soon as he locked the door behind them her lips were on his and her hands were undoing his short sleeved button down.
"I want you so bad!" She says between sloppy kisses as Daxon slips the flimsy dress over her head and tosses it to the side. A smirk fell across his lips as he realized she wasn't wearing a bra and the crazy Spanish girl was already on her knees undoing his belt buckle.
She pulled down his boxers and khaki pants in one go and before he even had a chance to contend to what was happening she had him in her mouth.
His head rolled back and a moan escaped his lips as he grabbed hold of Selena's hair, pulling it out of her face, her black eyes meeting his.
"I know you missed me." She stopped going to work on him and Daxon only let out a moan as she pulls him to the floor with her straddling him to the ground.
"Oh you have no idea babe." He tucks a loose strand behind her ear and leans up to kiss her once on the lips before she pushed him back down again and went back to doing what she does best.
Daxon leans back and rests his arms behind his head with a relaxed smirk as his navy eyes danced with satisfaction having only one thought.
That was easy...
