"And cut! That's a wrap for today, everyone. We'll see you back at 7am sharp tomorrow. Enjoy your evening."

The crew started to do some cleanup and the cast prepared to leave. Walking to the break room to get my bag, I heard my best friend calling me.

    "Hey Chuck, wait up."

I stopped walking so she could catch up with me. When she was beside me, I glanced down at my watch. "Scheisse, it's 6:00."

"11 fucking hours. All I did was take pictures and I'm exhausted."

I nodded in agreement. "You're telling me. I didn't even do half the work Wes did and I wanna fall out. This is gonna be harder than we thought."

"Thomas asked what we were doing tonight."

As I grabbed my bag, I shrugged. "Eating? I don't know. Why?"

She tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "Thomas said they are celebrating the first day back tonight at their hotel. He said there will be a 'cornucopia of food and alcohol' and they'll all hang out in... shit whose room did he say? Oh, Kaya's tonight. He asked me to bring my computer so they could see the pictures. He asked if you and I would eat and hang out too. What do you say?"

"That sounds like a fantastic plan. I just want to go back to our hotel and shower first."

I showered first and then Hartley did. It's in the 50's at night this time of year in New Orleans. Wanting to be cute but comfy, I threw on some maroon skinny jeans, white converse, and a white t-shirt. Hartley put on black skinny jeans, a white tank with a white cardigan and gray vest over top, and black keds. I walked back in the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Charlie, your damn phone is buzzing."

With the toothbrush hanging out of my mouth, I peered around the corner at her. "Well who is it?"

Hartley picked up my phone and read the message. "It's from a number you don't have saved, so there's no fucking telling. It says Hey Charleston from Charleston. Are you guys coming over? Oh... I think it's Dylan. Did you give him your number?"

I choked on my toothbrush, so before answering, I spit out the paste and put the toothbrush away after rinsing it. Hartley handed me my phone when I stepped back into the room.

"I did not give him my number. I'm gonna text him back. Hey person who I don't know. I'm going somewhere tonight, depends on who is asking."

Hartley laughed out loud and went to finish straightening her hair. My phone buzzed again.

    "He responded."

    "Well? What does it say?"

I opened the text message and read it out loud. "Haha very funny. It's your favorite Death Cure actor. Do you know where the hotel is? Little prick doesn't like to give a straight answer. It's 7, are you ready yet? I'm starving?"

While Hart ran a brush through her hair, I texted Dylan back.

Yeah Thomas gave Hart the address. We are getting ready to leave. Please tell me there is still food, I'm starving.

"Holy shit, he must have his phone in his hand. He texts back hella fast."

"What did he say this time?"

Unlocking my phone, I silently read his new message. "I asked if there was still food. His response was Yes. Not everyone has gotten in here yet. Even so... there is enough food to feed you probably 50 times. But if you don't hurry and get your ass here, I'll eat it all and make you starve. Awe that was rude!"

She slid her coat on and shook her head. "Well you can punch him when we get there. I'm hungry, let's go."

"Okay, Chuck, Kaya's room is 204."

We stepped off the elevator and went searching for room 204. When we got there, I knocked loudly. The door swung open to reveal a very excited Dylan.

"CHARLESTON AND HARTLEY! It's about fucking time! Get in here."

Dylan grabbed my hand and pulled me inside, Hartley shutting the door behind us. We looked around the ginormous hotel room to see who all was there. Scattered around the room, in chairs and on the floor, were Thomas, Will, Jacob, Dexter, Rosa, Kaya, and Ki Hong. In the middle of the room was a table, probably bigger than my bedroom back home, FULL of food.

"Holy shit, Dyl, you weren't kidding. Look at all that food!"

Dylan spun around showing me his award winning grin. "I told you! You got here just in time, we were all about to start stuffing our faces."

Hartley searched the room, probably for Thomas. "You guys didn't have to wait for us."

Thomas stood up and walked toward her. "Don't let him guilt trip you. Dex, Will, and Rosa just got here too." He paused to hug her. "I'm glad you came."

I fake coughed. He turned towards me, smirking, and hugged me. "I'm glad you came too, Charlie. Come on everyone, let's eat."

The crowd of hungry monsters rushed towards the table. Everyone made a plate and sat wherever they could. The whole thing was casual and pretty relaxing. Thomas said something to Hartley and she pulled her laptop out of her bag. I saw her lay on her stomach, propped on her elbows, with her plate and laptop in front of her. Kaya and Thomas laid on either side of her. Not wasting any time to see those pictures, I guess. I got my plate and started looking for a place to sit. A hand grabbed my arm, pulling me down, causing me to almost drop my food. When my butt hit the floor, I looked to my left to see Dylan.

"You're sitting with me, whether you like it or not."

I leaned back against the chair we were sitting in front of and settled my plate in my lap. Dylan snaked his arm around my shoulders. I tensed up. Mentally shaking it off, I relaxed into his side and shoved a grape in my mouth.
