The next morning, Wes and TB were hanging out with me in my hotel room waiting for people to start arriving.

"So when will they be here?" Wes asked through a mouthful of eggs.

I gave him a look of pure disgust. "First of all, don't talk with your mouth full.  Were you raised in a barn? Second,  any minute. .."

I was interrupted by a knock on the door. I hopped up excitedly. "Ah! Maybe it's Dylan or Hartley!"Slinging the door open, my eyes widened in surprise. "Sharmy!!"

I attacked Daniel with a hug before pulling him into the room. He laughed as he plopped down on the couch.

"I just saw you three days ago, love."

I nudged his leg with my foot as I sat back down at the table. "I know that, but it's my birthday and I get to see all the people I love. So I'm excited."
Slowly, everyone else started arriving. Hartley came later than everyone else. She hugged me tightly before wrapping herself around TB. Dylan had yet to arrive. I had gotten a text from him saying his flight was running late.

"Boo." I pouted. "Dylan just landed so it'll be awhile before he gets here."

My phone rang as I was catching up with my friends so I stepped into the kitchenette area to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Charleston? This is Stuart Beattie."

"Hey Mr. Beattie! How are you?" I pushed a finger in my ear so I could hear him better.

"I'm good, thanks. Listen I wanted to ask you something. I'm producing a new movie, Danger Close. Wes told me all about your work on Death Cure, and of course I've seen you in action on Fall of Gods. I want you to come work with me on this movie."

Holy shit. I start dancing around, warranting confused looks from my group.

"That would be amazing. Thank you so much for this opportunity. When does it start? Can we plan to sit down and discuss everything soon?"

Mr. Beattie laughed. "Let's sit down next week during lunch one day. We plan to start filming at the beginning of October, so as soon as Fall of Gods is finished, we'll have to leave quickly."

Oh man this might be stressful jumping from one movie to another so quickly when I'm still so new, but Stuart Beattie is amazing! He's done the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, I, Frankenstein, and he wrote the script for Fall of Gods. I can't pass up this opportunity.

"That's fine. I don't have any plans after Fall of Gods right now, so that sounds perfect. I'll see you Monday!"

I hung up the phone and wiggled over to the main room, where I was met with questions of who I was talking to and about what. Before I could answer there was a knock on the door. I opened it and Dylan was standing on the other side holding flowers and a present.

"I'm so sorry I'm late. Happy birthday baby dinosaur."

I attacked him with a hug, not letting go for the longest time. I had noticed the last couple of weeks leading up to this visit, I was so busy with the movie, I hadn't been able to talk to him as much. I'd be missing phone calls and forgetting to respond to texts. I felt so bad, I was glad he was coming so I could try to make it up to him.

"Nothing to apologize for, dyl pickle. I'm just glad you're here!" I stepped inside so Dylan could put his stuff down before calling out, "Come on guys, let's go! Le Jules Verne Restaurant is calling our name!"

Everyone filed out of the room and Hartley joined me and Dylan. "Isn't that in the Eiffel Tower? How the hell did you manage that?"

Wes walked up behind us, causing Hartley to jump when he spoke in her ear. "It pays to know people." He winked and walked away before she could smack him on the arm.
