My alarm woke me out of a dead sleep at 4am. I slipped my glasses on, grabbed my outfit, and walked into the bathroom so I wouldn't wake Hartley up. The curlers came out of my hair and resulted in thick, loose spirals cascading down my back. I pulled a few pieces from either side of my head and pinned them at the back, creating a half up/half down look. My bangs were falling over my eyes in a sweep motion. Glancing at my reflection, I gave myself a pleased smile. My hair has a mind of its own, so it's very rare I break away from the barely brushed, half wavy/half straight style. I slipped on my jeans and sweater. When I pulled my arm through the hole, I slipped and knocked the counter, sending my contact case flying. Apparently the lid wasn't on tight. SHITTTTT. I can't find one of my contacts. That was my last pair! The clock said 4:40, which meant I had no choice but to suck it up and wear my glasses on set for the first time. What a great fucking start to the day.

Things went smooth getting everyone set up for the new schedule. Daniel and Julieta were there just before 6 to finish setting up the new scene designs. Hartley came flying through the door at 650.

"Hart, what the hell is wrong with you?"

My best friend looked up at me through tousled waves falling over her glasses.

"I told Braxton I would be here at 630. I accidentally turned my alarm off so I had to rush to get dressed, which is why I'm wearing my fucking glasses." She looked around and then back to me, jolting back like she had seen me for the first time. "Your hair looks pretty. But why are you wearing your glasses?"

I rolled my eyes. "I knocked my case off the counter this morning and lost one of my contacts. It was my last pair too so I had to order more."

Hartley asked about the new schedule, so I pulled out a copy and went over it with her. About that time, the group walked in, with Thomas and Dylan in the front.

"Hey guys." I said as they got closer.

"Hey, how's it going." They kept walking and stopped a couple of feet away.

I looked at Hart and mouthed What the fuck? She just shrugged.

Thomas and Dylan walked back towards us as the rest of the group kept walking.

Dylan, without ever actually laying eyes on us, asked a ridiculous question.

"Either of you two seen Charlie? Or Hartley?"

We just looked at him and Thomas, dumbfounded.

"I know people look different in glasses, but I didn't know it made us damn near unrecognizable."

Both guys whipped their heads around and looked at us. Recognition slowly crept across their face.

"Holy shit. I've never seen either of you wear glasses before! Or have curly hair!"

Hartley rolled her eyes. "I woke up late. The glasses were not by choice."

Thomas walked over and embraced her. "I think you look absolutely adorable in them. You should wear them more often!"

She blushed but didn't respond.

Dylan gave me a kiss. "You look adorable too. Your hair looks awesome."

I smiled widely at him. "I lost a contact, so mine was not by choice either. And the hair doesn't ever cooperate, so it was like a once in a blue moon kinda thing. But thank you."

Hartley nudged me and pulled her bag tighter on her shoulder.

"I'm late enough, I gotta go find Braxton. I'll see you guys in a bit."

Dylan, Thomas, and I started walking towards the first sound stage when I skidded to a stop.

"TB... Why are you here?"

His face was full of concern. "I'm filming today."

My mouth fell open. Is he serious? "No you aren't! You're off the rest of the week! You don't remember being told that?"

A smirk appeared. "I'm only joking, Charlie. I know I can't film this week. But what else was I going to do? Figured I would come and offer some moral support."

He received a well-deserved punch in the shoulder before we finished making our way to Wes.

6pm rolled around and Wes dismissed everyone for the day. I walked out with Hartley and the group, looking for our vehicle. Hart hadn't yet told me which vehicle we had gotten, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

"Hartley. Which one is ours?"

She grinned and pointed the key fob towards the vehicles lined up across from where we were standing.  When she pressed the unlock button, the lights flashed on jet black 2016 Denali.

"HEILIG SCHIESSE. That is.... Well that's just damn beautiful."

Kaya burst out laughing, but everyone else gave me weird look.

"What the hell did you just say?"

I looked at Ki and laughed.

"Holy shit in German. Duh."

The dumbfounded look on his face stayed for a few more seconds before he just shook his head and started walking towards the jeep they were driving.

"I'm riding with Hartley and Charlie."

Dylan slung his arm around my shoulders and smiled.

Thomas raised his hand in the air like a child. "Me too! We will see you all back at the hotel."
