Neighbor? (Sadao Maou X Reader)

A/N: Once again not a request but yolo right? I hope you amazing readers will enjoy!

Scenario: You work at MgRonald's when a new-comer is hired, not only is he your co-worker but also your neighbor, and strange things begin to happen once he moves next to you, and you meet a very strange Emilia the Hero.

(Y/N)'S POV:

      It was normal day at MgRonald's. I was currently managing the cash register with Chiho Sasaki, she was a light auburn haired teenager with amber eyes. She has a very innocent personality and goes to school at Sasahata North High School. We have been co-workers for some time now and she always talks my ear off, perusal with most sixteen year old girls. When I first met the girl I truly dreaded the idea of a talkative teen working beside me, but I soon grew to enjoy her company. It was a slow day, so not many customers were walking in, So Chiho decided to do a play by play of what she wished would happen.

     "So (Y/N), What is college like?" Chiho asks as she leans on the cash register.

     "Long, boring, tiring" I sigh, "There's nothing really special about it except for the fact it isn't cheap."

     "Oh" Chiho sighs and begins playing with the cash register.

     "(Y/N)! Chiho!" Our manager shouted at us. We quickly jump up and face her. Worried we were going to get drilled about slacking off, we exchange looks of horror. To my bewilderment a man with greenish black hair and red eyes is standing beside our black haired, black eyed manager, Mayumi Kasaki. She begins to speak again, "This is Sadao Maou and he will be your new co-worker, He will be working on cash register so, Chiho, I will need you to clean off the tables and floors."

     "Uhm, yes ma'am!" Chiho then stands stiff while holding up a hand to her forehead as a salute. She then grabs a rag and goes to work.

     "Sadao Maou?" I question the man.

     "Yes?" He asks back as I give him a sideways glance.

     "Your name sounds familiar that's all" I say as I continue to look forward.

     "Uhm... Okay?" He clears his throat, "And you are?"

     "Tch..." I roll my eyes and look at him, "(Y/N) (L/N)."

     "Oh okay" He sighs and adverts his gaze to the front of him. Everything was calm and still until this Sadao Maou showed up because once he did the whole MgRonald's was filled to the brim with costumers. After a long day of work, my shift had finally ended, which means I get to go home and spend the rest of the night finishing the classwork that is due by midnight. Being I take online classes, I can do my work whenever I need to, so I can maintain a job while also get my college degree.

     Normally when I leave I walk Chiho home, but I had received a text message from my landlady, Miki Shiba, Or as she request I call her Miki-T, She is the owner of the Villa Rosa Sasazuka apartment buildings, where I live.  She had texted me, informing me that she, quote on quote, 'I have some interesting people I would enjoy introducing to you later tonight.'

     So as she requested, I hurried on home where I was informed I would be meeting these 'Interesting People.'

     When I arrived at the apartment building I saw the red eyed, lavender hair that I knew all to well, standing by the stairs that allowed someone to enter the apartment building.

     "Oh (Y/N)!" She beamed, "So glad you finally arrived! And looking rather beautiful might I add!" She then embraced me into a tight bear hug, that was slowly squeezing the life out of me. When she finally let go of me, I was panting, due to the lack of air.

      "So... ahem... Miki-T where are these 'interesting people' you wanted me to meet?" I paused because that's when I noticed the familiar greenish black hair, that I had seen earlier today. I narrow my eyes when I see those big, bright red eyes.

     "(Y/N) I would like you  to meet Mr. Sadao Maou and Shiro Ashiya" She gestured towards Sadou and the White-blonde haired male, whom I assumed was Mr. Ashiya.

     "You two this is Ms. (Y/N) (L/N)" She then gestured towards me. I gave a slight smile and was about to walk off to my apartment when Ms. Miki-T stopped me by saying, "Now you three get along! Have fun! See you all later!" She then waved and walked off.

     "It is nice to meet you!" Mr. Ashiya bowed at me.

     "No need to bow" I sigh placing a hand on his shoulder, "If you two need anything..." I sighed, "I'm right down the hall." I then continued walking in and leaving to go to my apartment.

TIME SKIP:

     A few days have passed since Sadou and Mr. Ashiya moved in next to me. Chiho has grown to liking Maou, and I hate to admit it some days, but I too have grown a little attached to this strange male. It turns out he is only twenty just like me and he too wishes to move up in the world.

     "Come on (Y/N)! Hurry up or we will be late for work!" The all to familiar voice shouted through my apartment door.

     "I'm done! I'm done! Sheesh!" I walk out of my apartment to be greeted by Maou. We have now began walking to work together and home as well. I mean come on! Why not? We live at the same apartment building and we work at MgRonald's. It's more convenient this way.

     When we arrived at work, we were greeted by Chiho. "Mr. Maou! (Y/N)! You're here!"

     "Why wouldn't we be here?" I sarcastically say rolling my eyes.

      "Oh well uh," Chiho sighs rubbing the back of her neck.

      "We have work to do" I sighed and quickly got to work. After yet another long, hard days worth of work, Maou and I head back home. We finally arrived and shockingly a redhead lady is waiting there at the foot of the stairs.

     "I will kill you Devil!" She shouts as she lunges at Maou. I quickly move out of her way and go to sit on the stairs for free entertainment. I knew there was something strange about Sadao character, and now I had finally figured it out, either one, he is demon or two he has a deranged ex-girlfriend. I guess it was the second one. After their fight I decided to confront Maou on the topic.

     "Who was she?" I say pointing behind me.

     "Emilia th... I mean Emi Yusa" He sighs as he catches himself.

     "Mmmhmm" I say giving him the Are-you-for-real glare.

     "She... uh" He sighs, clearly defeated, "You got me."

     "I knew it!" I shouted giving myself a triumphant fist pump in the air.

     "Wait you knew!" He says, eyes wide and face horror ridden.

     "Duh!" Say looking at him, "It was pretty obvious."

     "Wait it was?!" He grew worried.

     "Yup!" I laughed, while throwing an arm around his shoulder, "Knew you had a crazy ex-girlfriend!"

      He sighed a sigh of relief, "I seriously thought you knew I was a demon." He began chuckling, until he realized what he just said out loud.

     "Didn't know that till now, that was my first choice but ha! I didn't believe it" I laughed, "Don't worry it'll be our little secrete." I promise as I give him a hug and run off to my apartment. There stood a jaw dropped Sadao in the middle of the hall. I just knew this would become a wonderful friendship, and maybe something more, eventually. But for now it's a friendship built around one huge secrete.
