Anbu (Kakashi X Reader)

A/N: I bring to you a Kakashi x Reader!! Kakashi is my all time favorite Naruto character I adore the silver haired Jonin!💕💙

SCENARIO: You are an Anbu Black Ops, operative and you were told you'd be on a special mission with a certain silver haired Jônin.

(Y/N)'S POV:
     "Yes Lady Hokage... I can take on the assignment... It'll be a breeze." I say with confidence as a fidget with my mask.
     "There is only one catch..." Tsunade quietly spoke.
     "And being...?" I edged her onward.
     "You will be accompanied."
     "Since when?! And by whom?! Why now?!" I quickly fire out question after question. I have never and I repeat never had to have someone accompany me on a mission. No one other than my team mates. No one more. And never have I ever messed something up to cause there to be a concern to even require accompaniment.
     "You will be accompanied by Hatake Kakashi, he is an elite Jônin for hidden leaf, not only that but he too was once an Anbu. Therefore he's the best choice to have join you on your mission." Tsunade finished.
     "But why must I now be accompanied by someone other than one of my teammates?"
     "You will not question my choice and will do as told."
     "I don't..."
     "You will NOT question my choice and WILL DO AS TOLD!" and with that Tsunade slammed her fist on the desk and I could see the anger in her eyes.
     "Yes ma'am" I sighed. As I was about to leave, the so called 'Best Choice' walked in, and rather late might I add.
     "Sorry I'm late, I seem to have gotten lost on the path of life." He raised a hand to wave.
     "I have to work with THIS?!" I growl gesturing towards Kakashi, "My Team would have been here on time! No! Wait! they'd be hours earlier and would be ready to go!"
     I glace back at Kakashi and I glare at him through the eye holes of my mask.
     "Kakashi is already aware of the mission, so he didn't miss out on any important information. Not only that he knows of your target and where you will be located. And if you looked closely enough he has all of his stuff ready unlike someone standing before me." Tsunade huffed.
     "I don't need luggage for a mission. I can do things in efficient time, when I carry but few items. All I need is my Katanas, kunai, my hands, and my brain, and I'm good to go. That is what makes me and my team so lethal."
     "Well miss lethal, killing machine, If you wish to spend very little time with Kakashi and get this job done, I suggest you get going, it is almost nightfall." I glance out the window and she was right. Night would soon be upon us, but what she doesn't realize, I LIVE for night, that's when I am at my peak during battle.
     "C'mon Hatake, I don't have all night." I growl, grabbing his arm and dragging him out the door.
     "I know where we are going, you don't have to drag me around." Kakashi protested.
     "If I don't we will never finish the mission" I spat, "speaking of which... Why must you accompany me?" I continue my way towards the gate.
     "Lady Tsunade informed me, that I'm not to disclose that information." And that moment I wanted to turn around and go off on him, but I bit my tongue and continued onward.

     After awhile of walking, we decided to take a break. It was completely dark out, but luckily for us we we're just inches away from being inside the gate of the village hidden in the mist, where our mission was to take place.

     "Alright, here's the plan" I was stopped mid sentence when I noticed Kakashi already made his way inside the village. "You little..." I growled but quickly followed after. When I caught up to Kakashi, he was almost in the worn down, abandoned building, that was the home to the scroll we were ordered to retrieve.
     "I'll retrieve it!" I quickly inform him, "I know of it's exact location, not to mention I blend in with the cover of night. I work well at this time. So I'm going to go retrieve it. Wait here! I'll be back in a jiffy." I hurriedly made my way into the building. I ascend the old stairs of the building. They creak under the pressure of each step. I navigate through the dark halls in search of the library, where the scroll should be hiding. 

KAKASHI'S POV:

     I waited for (Y/N)'s return. She told me she'd be back in a jiffy and she had just left. I waited outside ensuring no one would be entering the building, for (Y/N)'s safety. I was informed not to tell (Y/N) why I was truly accompanying her on this mission, because she wouldn't know how to feel. I was accompanying her on this mission to not only help protect her, but because I had wished to fix our once broken bond.
     As I was waiting for her, I heard a loud thud from the top floor. The floor that (Y/N) should have been on. Out of impulse I ran into the building and make sure she was okay. I reached the library room and there she was along with two other ninja. Rouge ninja at that. One had (Y/N) pinned against the wall with a sword to her neck, the other was now facing me.
     "Let her go" I growl as I prepare to use chidori on the rouge ninja.
     "Kakashi just get the scroll and go. Complete the mission!" (Y/N) pleaded but I couldn't do that. I wasn't here to finish the mission. I was here to fix our bond and protect her with my life. And I was going to do just that. I then had finally gotten my chidori ready and attacked one of the ninja. When I defeated the one, the second dropped his sword and fled. I was ready to jump out the window and chase after the one that got away, but I felt someone come up from behind me.
     "Thank you... Kakashi" (Y/N) whispered. I felt her arms wrap around my torso as she hugged me tightly. She reluctantly released me from her hug. When she did that I turned around and faced her. That's when I grabbed her and hugged her waist.
     "I'm sorry for everything" I say as I hug her tighter.
     "I forgive you Kakashi" She calmly spoke. As if our minds were thinking thee same thing, we both removed our masks. I continued to hold onto her, as she threw her arms around my  neck. Our faces got closer and closer, until our lips met.
     Soon we grew desperate for air and reluctantly pulled apart.
     "Maybe we should get the scroll, and return..." (Y/N) suggested, her (S/C) cheeks, dusted with the shades of red and pink.
     "We can take our time" I grinned as I pulled her into another kiss.
