Catch me if you can (Bakura X Reader)

A/N: Lowkey hating everything right now... Ughhh, Well I hate everything but my lovely readers of course! That moment when you decided to listen Britney Spears to get your mind off of everything... Whoops-a-daisy, then you move to Spice Girls, I live such a sad life LOL XD (I just noticed with this picture, the longer you stare at his millennium item the brighter it seems to shine...)

Scenario: You always have been one who refuses to heed the many warnings of close loved ones when they say, "(Y/N)! You don't need to walk around the streets late at night alone! One day someone is gonna scoop you up and we're never gonna see you again." But of course you doubt that'd ever happen, as you like to boast, "I'm strong! I can take care of myself!" Well tonight we will see if you can truly 'take care' of Yourself.

THIRD PERSON POV:

     Domino City was a busy city that was known for it's famous duelists, Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba. (Y/N) is a very good friend with both of them, and like many others, they to have warned (Y/N) about walking around the streets of this fair city alone late at night.

     "(Y/N) we're good friends and I want us to stay like that but if, one day, you get abducted off the streets, because you were walking alone late at night, I don't think I could live with myself." Yugi sighs, looking at (Y/N) with big pleading eyes. But in return he only received a very hard pat on the back as (Y/N) just shrugged it off.

     "(Y/N), you are the most incompetent fool I have ever met, and that's saying a lot especially being I have met that mutt over there" Kaiba says as he points behind him towards a blonde headed boy name Joey.

     "Tsk, That's rather rude" (Y/N) responds rolling her eyes.

     "Well it's true especially being you go walking the streets of Domino City late at night, ALONE," Kaiba huffs, "One day I'm going to see on the news how a young (H/C) teenager by the name of (Y/N) (L/N) was found on the side of a local road in the ditch, dead."

     "Haha very funny, but that's not gonna happen sweet cheeks" (Y/N) just laughs it off walking away.

     Today (Y/N) was walking home from shopping, and of course it was extremely late at night. By now most stores were closed and very few people were roaming the streets. Those who were still roaming the streets, were very shady. And these shady people are what makes (Y/N) so interested in walking these streets alone, (Y/N) found them interesting and her curiosity always got the best of her. But like people say, 'Curiosity is what killed the cat.' Continuing down her path, she passed many stray cats and jumped over puddles on the cracked sidewalk. She was surrounded by silence, as the dimly lit streets swallowed her whole. Nothing could break her stride, she roamed with a sense of bravery.

     "Hey cutie! What'cha doin' out so late? Someone might try to kidnap you, heh" An unfamiliar voice spoke from behind her, breaking the silence. Ignoring them, she continues forward.

     "Oi! I was talking to ya (H/C)!" He shouts as he grasps her arm, his nails cutting in to her skin.

     "If someone was dumb enough to Attempt to kidnap me, then I would dare them to" She growled her gaze not shifting from the path she was walking on. Quickly she yanks her arm away from his grasp and keeps walking. But the stranger wouldn't give up, and persisted on grabbing her wrist, turning her around. Her body was now facing the shady figure, but her face looking down at the ground.

     "That's more like it" He chuckles as he grabs her face and forces her to look at him. She quickly spits on him, that's when she notices his all to familiar white hair.

     "B...Bakura?" She mumbles.

     "Damn you!" He growls as he uses his sleeve to wipe away the spit on his face. When he finally got it off he stares daggers into (Y/N), large, saucer like (E/C) orbs. She slowly takes a step back, causing him to take a step forward, that was until she ran out of space to walk backwards.  He towered over her staring at  her.

     "Wh...what're you d...doing Bakura?" She asks stuttering almost every word in that one sentence. (Y/N) goes to school with Bakura, and around everyone he is very sweet, he has a soft tone and is full of joy. But... but he... he's different. Not a good different. A scary different. He seems so cold, he has a dark tone and aurora to him. This struck (Y/N) as odd and it terrified her. 'This Bakura was not the same Bakura that I go to school with, so who is he?' (Y/N) thinks to herself.

     as if he had read her mind he begins speaking, "Heh your right I'm not the Bakura you go to school with... I am so much better!" He begins to lean down towards her ear and whispered, "I can do so much better." (Y/N) slowly tried to process what he had just said.

    "If you're not the Bakura I go to school with then... who are you?" She asked clearly perplexed, "You know what never mind... I gotta go." Hoping that would work she slowly tries to ease away.

     Quickly Bakura throws her against the wall, holding her arms in place, "That's not going to work... now to answer your question... I am the Bakura who is going to make sure you don't walk the streets of Domino City late at night, alone." (Y/N) face went from a look of pure fear to a look of pure annoyance.

     Clearing her throat she begins to speak up, "Ahem, well if that is all, I will be taking my leave!" She then darts out from under him, "Nice to meet you but this is goodbye, but thanks for the warning." Laughing she begins to strut off.

     "How am I supposed to teach you a lesson if you walk away like that?!" Bakura snaps.

    "If you wanna teach me a lesson then you'll have to catch me!" She laughs and begins running off, "Catch me if you can!" Shaking his head, Bakura turns the other direction and walks off, "Someday she'll learn her lesson..." He chuckles to himself.
