Anime X Reader Book of Oneshots

(Zuko X Reader)

A/N: Sooooooooooo? I'm in a creative, writing mood today! I dunno why but I am, so why not seize the moment? Am I right? (And no this is not a request silly... you should know that by now!)

SCENARIO: You were an Earth bender and was currently captured by the fire nation. You were trying to escape, but was caught by none other than Prince of the fire nation Zuko... Crap... What happens? What can you do?

     "Lemme go! You swine! Hands off!" A voice erupts, interrupting the calm, reserved environment that surrounded the people of the fire nation. Everyone's gaze drifts towards the commotion. People gather around, gawking at the sight of two fire nation soldiers struggling to hold onto a tiny Earth bender.

     "Hey! Ugh! Get off me!" The Earth bender shouts, as she thrashes about. Her (H/L) (H/C) hair flinging from side to side of her head. She yanks and kicks, hoping to get the men, who where holding her, to let go. But to her dismay, their grip, on her, only tightened. Since she found this method, quite useless, she employs her second method. Bribery.

     "If you let me go..." She stops, as she ponders on what to offer them, "I will pay you twice as much than what your regular salary is!" The men seemed unfazed.

     "So what'cha say?" They kept their eyes locked on their destination. She heaves out a large sigh, "I tried being nice, but if you don't let me go right now, Imma have to hurt you!"

     "Heh" The men chuckle to themselves, they knew she couldn't do anything to them, and she knew she couldn't do anything anyways. It was useless. Eventually they got to their destination, and threw her, rather harshly, into a metal cell. She lands on the cold stone floor, the impact knocked the breath out of her, as she gasped desperately for air.

     Finally gaining back her breath and finding her voice she mumbles, "Damn men... stupid metal cell... I can't bend myself outta this... damnnn."

(Y/N)'S POV:

     'I can't believe I got captured!' I mentally yell at myself, 'I knew it was a bad idea to try to blow up their ship! What was I thinking!' I softly started hitting my head against the metal cell wall.

     Clang... Clang... Clang... the sound rang through the cell and off into the halls. I have to find a way out of this place! If I don't I'm going to go insane. Very... slowly... turn... insane. I can feel insanity flowing in my veins already.

     'Maybe I can attempt to bend my way outta here!' I think to myself. I stand up and get into my bending stance. I grunt as I try to bend the metal. No use. Maybe if I try harder. I push myself even harder to bend the metal door away. My veins popping, and my vision was slowly growing blurry. 'Come on!' I mentally try to convince myself. Sweat started beading on my forehead, and begins to leisurely run down my face and drip off my chin. I kept straining my body, when I felt as if I was going to pass out, I notice the metal door slowly start to creak open.

      "Yes!" I shout, but quickly cover my mouth. What was I trying to do? Get myself caught?! If I wanted to successfully get out of here, then I needed to be as silent as possible. The last thing I needed was to have someone hear me and grow suspicious. Then it would be game over. I get back into my stance, and began bending the metal door even more. It creaked under all the stress, but it was very faint, not a soul would hear it unless they were purposely listening for that exact sound.

     It was a very complicated feat, granite it's metal and I have never tried bending it and well... in all honesty, never thought it was possible. It took forever, but eventually the door gave in, making a hole big enough for me to pass through. I strained my body, and pushed it pass it's breaking point. I was feeling weak, so I had to be careful once I leave. If I'm not, I don't think I can engage into a fight, and It might not end well for me.

     I peak my head out through the crack in the door. I look left and then right. making sure no one was around. Deeming it safe to exit, I slip out. I quietly run through the hall. I come up to a corner. I stop and press my back against the wall, and look around. No one. I was so busy occupying myself by looking for people down the next hall, I never heard the footsteps approaching me. I was about to take off again, when I felt a strong hand, grasp my shoulder.

ZUKO'S POV:

     I had just gotten finished, with visiting my uncle, and was walking the dark, damp halls, where we kept our prisoners. As I was walking down one of the many halls, I noticed an Earth bender girl, peering around a corner. From what I gathered from the scene, she was an escaped prisoner, and she clearly didn't know I was there. I cautiously approached the (H/C) girl. Once I was close enough to grab her, I place a hand on her shoulder. I could feel her jump, and she quickly turned around, her (E/C) orbs piercing into mine.

     She tries to wriggle out of my grasp, "Let go of me!" She seethes. I couldn't help but stare at her. For an Earth bender, she was quite stunning. She slaps my hand off her shoulder, and gets into a bending stance, holding her (S/C) arms up, ready to bend something at any moment.

     "I'm not going to hurt you!" I hold up hands defensively. She narrows her eyes and studies me, "How do I know I can trust you?" She growls.

     I sigh, "You don't, but I can help you get out of here!"

     "The prince of the Fire nation, is willing to help me get out of here?!" She laughs, "Yeah right!"

     "If you don't want my help that's fine, but I'm not the one trying to escape am I?!" I shrug, turning around and begin to walk off.

     "W...Wait!" She calls out. About time she came to her sense. I stop and turn around, just slightly. "Hm?"

     "I... I need... your help" She mumbles out the last part, as her head is held low.

     "What was that?" I ask. I heard what she said, but I just wanted to hear her say it again.

     "I need your help!" She looks at me, with those big ol' puppy dog eyes. I chuckle, "This way." She walks up to me and begins to follow me around. I lead her down one hall, then the next. As we were about to turn the corner to the next hall, I heard some voices coming our way. I then grab her arm and yank her in the other direction. "This way!" I had to change up my plans, I couldn't take her down the way, I normally go, which usually doesn't have any guards. Now I had to take her the other way out, which would be very risky. When I felt we were safe, I pulled her into an empty cell, to talk.

     "Hey! Why'd you do that?!" She shrieks. On impulse, I pull her into my arms, and cover her mouth with one of my hands.

     "Look, we're going to have to take the other way out, which means we might get caught, unless you do exactly what I say." I whisper in her ear, being her mouth was covered by my hand, she nodded in response. I reluctantly let her go. She walks forward a bit, and then looks at me, "So what's the plan?"

     I walk her through my plan and she nods. When we finally finished our plan making, we put it into action. We slip out of the dark empty cell, into the dimly lit hall. We silently slip through the halls. We were coming up to the exit, which is heavily guarded. I look around, and see a few guards chatting away. I motioned for the girl to go to the other side of the hall. She nodded and swiftly, made her way over. I then attacked the guards, while they were occupied, they never saw it coming. I put gags into their mouths so they couldn't call for help, and then urged the girl to come out, and run quickly. I just now realized the whole time, I've been helping this girl, I never learned her name.

     We were finally at the exit. We looked out and made sure the coast was clear. As she and I were about to part, I grabbed her arm, halting her. She looks down at her arm then back to me.

      "Look I never got your name... and I wanted to know, will I ever see you again?" She looks at me and her face softens, and her lips curve up, into a gentle smile.

     "I'm (Y/N) (L/N), and of course you'll see me again, especially being how often I get in trouble with the Fire nation..." She chuckles as I let go of her arm. She smiles as she leans over next to me kissing my cheek. I could feel heat brush on my cheeks. She then retracts herself, shooting me a cheeky grin, "Well I'll see ya cutie!" She then waves and runs off, Leaving me standing there dazed, with my hand upon, my bright pink cheek, where she had graciously placed a kiss upon.
