The next morning I woke up to a different smell, Mexican food. In the morning though? That's strange. Then again, what about these people isn't strange? I saw that it was Dahvie that was cooking and he turned towards me.

"Rise and shine!" He said. I laughed noticing the reference to their new song then asked the question we both knew was coming.

"Sooo Mexican? In the morning? For breakfast?"

"I LOVE TACOS BRO. that shit cray."

I chucked a bit and figured I'll just leave him be. He asked if I wanted some but I refused while informing him of how i'm not a fan of Mexican food. He was shocked and didn't understand how someone couldn't love it.

After breakfast, Sally announced that today was beach day. Everyone got really excited.

"But wait.. Violet wont have a suit." Jayy interrupted.

"Wow really man? Cause ya know I wasn't going to Florida in the first place."

"Oh... right."

We all got out of the bus and walked over to the beach. It was so beautiful. I love the feeling of sand between my toes and the sun shining down on us. Kyle pushed Jayy over and they ended up wrestling on the sand. I continued walking until I found an open spot and sat down. The beach has always been one of my favorite place. The waves crashed on top of each other while the birds calmly flew above. There were never clouds about the ocean, leaving a calm blue shade. Off in the distance you could see the horizon. Everything was perfect.

Dahvie, Sally, and Andrew took off into the water and began splashing each other. Jayy followed screaming, "BATTLLEEEE!"

Kyle came up and sat down next to me. We looked out to the water watching the three people mess around.

"Why aren't you out there with them?" He asked.

"Oh I dunno." I replied.

I knew exactly why but I wasn't about to admit my fear to him.

"Well come on then!" He said while grabbing my wrist and pulling me up. I pulled back and he let go.

"Whats wrong Violet?" Kyle asked.

"Oh nothing. I wont go out there though. Sorry."

I felt ashamed. I'm ruining their fun. I told him that it was okay for him to go and I'd just watch from over here but he didn't buy it.

" Why wont you go? Really? Did Jayy piss you off?"

I chuckled and shook my head no. I decided that I'd just blurt it all out.

"Okay well I've been afraid of water since I was around 8. I'm not sure why. I wish I could say that something terrible happened to me but I can't. It's nothing like that. Don't get me wrong, I like pools but if I can't see in it, I wont swim in it. I panic. I- I just can't go. I'm sorry."
