Kyles P.O.V.

When Violet told me about her fear, I was a but confused. She seems like the type of girl who isn't afraid of anything so how could she be afraid of something so harmless? I made a split-second decision and hoped it was a good one. I grabbed her by the wrist and begged her to trust me as I pulled her off the sand. I softly put her over my shoulder and ran into the water where Jayy was. She started kicking and hitting my back but it wasn't going to do anything. I could feel her heart beat grow faster and I could tell she was really starting to panic. We were standing in the water and I moved her position so I was holding her marriage style. She just watched the water like if she looked away, it would swallow her whole or something. She didn't say a word.

"Violet. look at me." I ordered.

She didn't move.

"Violet." I tried again, "Look at me."

She slowly moved her gaze and swallowed deeply. Her eyes sparkled with the sun. The wind blew her hair back as she looked up at me.

"Do you trust me?" I asked.

Violet looked so beautiful. I just wanted her to have some fun and hopefully get over her fear.

"Do you trust me?" I repeated.

She shook her head no and I let out a little chuckle.

"Okay Violet." I grinned, "Will you trust me for just this second?"

She looked down at the water then back up at me.

"Okay." She whispered.

Violets P.O.V.

Sally, Dahvie, Andrew, and Jayy had been watching us. Sally leaned over and whispered something to Jayy but before I could yell at them about secrets, I was dropped into the cold, dark water. I sprung up quickly and heard everyones laughter.

"YOUR FACE OHMYGOD THAT WAS PRICELESS!" Jayy yelled.

"Shut up!" I snapped back.

"It's not so bad ya see? You're alright." Kyle smiled down at me as he began splashing me. I was really scared but somehow, he had made me forget my fears for a little while.
