Sally was starting to calm down now but then Jayy ran over to us, panicked.
"SALLY HUN ARE YOU OKAY?!" He yelled.
She could barely manage nodding her head yes which instantly told us that she wasn't. Not at all. She was crushed, broken. I wasn't sure who had ended it, I guess it was mutual, but both of them were pretty torn up. I didn't know how to comfort her. I had never been in that situation.
After a few hours the day was winding down to an end and we all just headed back to the bus in silence. I sat with Sally on her bunk for a while as Jayy and Drew had a smoke sesh in his bunk. We talked for a while until she fell asleep. She admitted to me that she couldn't take being around them all anymore and that she just needed some time on her own, ya know, to figure things out. She also said how there was a guy who she was starting to develop feelings for and I just assumed that was one reason that her and Drew broke up. I knew she was leaving in the morning but I wasn't going to tell anyone. I'd rather have them all calm down for the night and relax. She'll tell them sooner or later.
Morning came and Sally was talking with Jayy and Dahvie at the table. Dahvie looked absolutely crushed. I could tell he was trying to hold it together but I didn't think he'd last too long. Jayy just leaned over and hugged her and kept saying how he'd miss her. This was such a sad scene to watch.
Dahvie got up and started walking towards the back where I was.
"You gonna be okay D?" I asked.
"Ye-yeah. She wants to pursue her own dreams. I've got to be okay with that. Change hurts but its for the better right?" He said as he looked into my eyes, questioning his own words as he said them.
I just gave a sappy half-smile and hugged him before he walked to the back. Jayy was saying his final goodbyes and Sally got in a cab. It was weird seeing them fall apart like that. I thought Sally would be there forever for sure. They were all best friends. I guess this is why you shouldn't have relationships in the band.
Kyle woke up and called me over to his bunk. I walked over to him as he was questioning what was going on. Confused, I just shrugged it off and figured someone else would tell him later. His hair was all messed up and he looked so sleepy that it was actually, well, adorable. I know a lot just happened and everything going on is just confusing but... well.. all I wanted to do was climb in his bunk and cuddle up next to him.
"Don't I look cuteeeeeeeee?" He sarcastically said in the middle of a yawn.
Jesus christ he can read my mind! Shit! Wait.. maybe he's joking.
"You wish." I kidded, hitting his arm playfully.
He patted the empty space next to him as if he was inviting me. Oh my god, he could totally read my thoughts! Don't turn red.. Don't do it...
"Guyyyyyyyyysssss I miss Sally alreadyyyyyyyy." Dahvie moaned from his bunk. He yanked back the curtain and pouted at us to show how upset about it he was.
I replied with "I'm sorry boo." as I climbed over into his bunk to give him a hug. It was an awkward hug since he was laying down but oh well. I felt really bad so I convinced him to have us all go out shopping. It usually brings a smile to his face when he sees his CD in a store or maybe some cool new hair dye.
A few hours later we returned to see Jayy and Drew leaning against the bus smoking.
"What'd ya get?" Jayy asked. He took another hit from Drews joint and blew it at me.
"You fuck."I whinned.
"Anywaysss! I got some hair dye! Can I do someones hair?! And GUESS WHAT. I got some cool jeans. But they're not for me." said Dahvie.
I looked at Dahvie confused. I don't remember him ever buying jeans? Did he seriously manage to go buy new clothes when I wasn't paying attention?
"They're for Violet!" He yelled. He slowly turned to me and continued, "Oh. Right. Yeah while you were trying on clothes I saw what size you were and I knew you admired these pants soooo I bought em!"
"Aw man! Dahvie I was talking the entire time that I was in the dressing room! I thought you were listening! Great people probably thought I was a freak. Anyways, show me the pants!"
Dahvie opened up a bag to a store that I hadn't even heard of and started pulling out a pair of jeans. Oh.My.God. He didn't.
"OH. MY. HOLY MOTHER FUCKING CHRIST."
"You like?" He joked.
"YESSS!"I screamed as I jumped to hug him.
"Wait those are my jeans. wait what." Jayy asked.
"Sorry ever since I saw you wear these jeans I've been OBSESSED with them. They're the coolest jeans I've seen yet. I never knew where to buy them!"
I grabbed the American flag jeans from Dahvie and held them out in front of me while I admired all the tears and rips. I couldn't believe I actually have these jeans.
