Chapter 6

* Weiss Pov*

"Soooooo you asked us to lead you yet you are walking ahead like you know the place", I follow Qrow along with Blake.

"Ehhh I do have to do missions in here sometimes. My guess is that Ruby and the criminal are in the forest".

"Very astute", Blake's amber eyes widen and she looks at me.

"Hmph. Whatever all I know is Ruby is still out there and like Yang I'm not leaving her behind".

We head back to the deepest part where suddenly we hear weapons clashing with each other left of where we are.

"Over there", I run ahead of them.

"Weiss wait you can't run in your heels", Blake yells after me with Qrow.

The weapon clanking stops and silence fills the air.

"What happen where'd they go", Blake stands next to me.

Suddenly high pitched loud screams and sword slashes come from the same direction again. Those high pitch screams it can't be! My Ruby is in pain!

I run to a ledge and stop myself midway so my heels don't skid me down the ledge. Ruby is down just covered in blood and large sword cuts. Her left arm is severed from her body and she's basically in a pool of her own blood.

"Blake Qrow hurry up", my voice cracks and I watch as the man readied to stab Ruby.

"I got this", Blake pulls out her Gambol Shroud gritting her teeth switching it to its gun form then she fires at the man's hand injuring it and knocking the sword out of his hand.

Qrow then jumps down pulling out his grey and black sword then swings at the man leading him away from Ruby. The man jumps back holding his right hand tightly,clenching it in pain it seems, then he picks up his sword with his left arm and flees the scene.

"RUBY"! I jump off the ledge running to her with tears flowing off my face and I lift her up a little laying her in my arms. "Ruby Ruby wake up! I'm here please open your eyes!"

"Blake I don't want to sound like a pet owner here but can you hear if Ruby has a pulse at least", Qrow asks looking at Ruby sadly.

Blake nods closing her eyes and in a few seconds she opens them and rushes to the both of us. "We need to hurry she barely has one".

Qrow takes Ruby from me while I pick up her scythe and then look at her left arm that was cut off. She'll be like her sister needing a limb to be replaced. I close my eyes gripping her scythe tightly then follow Blake and Qrow back to the airship.

Once we make it there Qrow orders for a bed, life support, and a heart monitor with a pulse for Ruby.

"By the way tell school boy Jimmy my niece needs a new arm", Qrow sighs ordering one and I remember that he and General Ironwood dont get along at all.

"We should go too", Blake sighs walking into the airship.

I look at Ruby's scythe and fold it up shedding a few tears on it then get on the ship myself. Once everyone is in the ship rises up and the pilot drops Ruby and Yang at the hospital first then he drops us off at Beacon.

*Few hours later At Professor Ozpin's office*

Ozpin takes a sip from his coffee mug with a conflicted look on his face. The sun sets behind him. We can tell from the windows behind his chair.

"I'm very sorry for putting you for into danger like that", he sighs setting it down on his desk in front of me.

"Its not your fault. We go out there into the unexpected. That's what hunters and huntreses do", I nod understanding Prof. Ozpin's reason for sending us into the wild.
