Chapter 10

*The next day*

*Blake's POV*

Sunlight shines brightly from our windows. To the left of me is a bed with a giant red blanket and 2 bodies in it, my teammate and team leader, Ruby and Weiss. Ruby snores lightly while Weiss holds her tightly in her arms. In between us is a nightstand with a lamp on top of it. The wooden wall sits in front of mine and Yang's bed while the white door sits in front of Weiss and Ruby closed.

To the left of the door is a tall wooden dresser filed with our clothes and a desk a few feet in front of it with a wooden chair and Ruby's cloak hanging from it.

"M-mmm Kitty Cat, it's too early for us to be awake", Yang grumbles in her sleep.

My head is on her chest and my ears twitch a little as Yang's chest rises up and down from her breathing.

"I know Yang", I reply quietly then close my eyes once more letting the sleep take over.

*2 HOURS later*

Someone is petting me and my ears, and that could only be one person. My eyes gently open and the first thing I see is the ceiling

"Y-yang", I call out for my girlfriend.

Her head appears in front of my view of the ceiling.

"Yes kitty cat", Yang replies quietly.

Yang's long blonde hair is still up in a ponytail.

"I'm guessing you're petting my ears"?

"Yep, I can stop if you want me to".

"Purrr, I mean no I don't", I blush embarrassed.

"Okay".

I turn to the left of me, seeing the red empty bed next to us.

"Where's Ruby and Weiss", I ask yawning a little.

"They're with dad. Dad wanted to spend time with them, while we overslept and stuff".

"Sounds like us", I smile.

"Ha right", Yang bends over and kisses my forehead then places my head on a pillow getting up from our shared bed from an opening on the right.

"Ohhh man, mid July and it's almost time for school", Yang stretches yawning loudly, "We need to do something memorable".

"We should, but what though", I sit up looking at her.

"Hmmm, Blake........we should have done this when we confessed our feelings to eachother, but you and I should go on our first date officially, my treat", she turns around and smiles at me.

"Really? Are you sure"?

"Yeah leave it to me"!

"Okay, when should we go"?

Yang thinks for a minute then has an aha! look on her face.

"Let's go tonight, since we're so excited", Yang declares holding both her fists up.

"Okay, then I will get ready for our date tonight", I get up and wink at her then kiss her cheek.

*5 HOURS LATER *

*Yang's POV*

"God I'm such an idiot", I slam my head on the kitchen table.

"What happened Sis", Ruby asks dipping a chocolate chip cookie into her glass of milk. She sits across of me sticking her tongue out being careful and precise with her cookie dunking I guess?
