The mortal clothed Asgardians waited in line, Sif impatiently looking around with a hint of curiosity at the tops of the rides that you could just see over the tall fence.  Loki was still at her side and they had taken the tickets out of their pockets.  Fandral was unsurprisingly flirting with a cute brunette who was gushing over his foreign accent and clinging to his arm.  He waggled his eyebrows at the prince before turning his attention back to the woman, his unique vocabulary and speech drawing her in almost as much as his dashing looks.

Volstagg looked starving as the aroma of greasy carnival food clung to the air, and the god desperately wanted to get his paws on a hunk of sugared fried dough.  Or ten hunks.  Either way, the man was ravenous and he was going to get a hold of a cinnamon pretzel if i was the last thing he did.  And a foot-long hot dog with a toasted bun.  And a burger or three and a half.  Just thinking about the food that lay waiting for him inside the gates made his mouth salivate, and that was saying something.  Kind of.

And Hogun just waited patiently, casting harsh glances at anyone that stepped too close to him.  Out of all the Asgardians, he definitely had more personal space.

The line soon started moving smoothly, and before long the Asgardians stood in front of the booth, pushing their tickets through a glass opening  and sliding it towards a worker who instantly nodded them through.

They were in the gates.  Sounds of cheerful screams and laughter along with the rattling of moving roller coasters were enough to send the foreigners into a buzz.  They stopped walking for a moment, taking in the sheer size of the fast moving structures and enormous crowds of people.  Two things were on Loki's mind, the fact that he could easily be spotted by thousands of different people and that he could try to blend with the groups of mortals if he was recognized.

Sif's grip on Loki's hand tightened, her eyes wide and scanning over hundreds of people and looking for any sign of danger.  The reaction was automatic to her now.  In battle, you were surrounded by hundreds- if not thousands of people and every single one of them wanted to kill you.  Being suddenly surrounded like this was enough to set her on the slightest edge.  Noticing her sudden discomfort even when she hadn't noticed, Loki gave her palm a small reassuring squeeze.  "Sif, you're alright.  You can relax."  He said quietly, tilting his head closer to her's so she would be able to hear him over the shouts.

Instantly, her gaze rested on his and her shoulders relaxed, a small smile finding it's way to her lips.  "Right.  Sorry, let's go."  She replied while taking a step closer to his side.  The last thing she would want was to accidentally get separated.  Just the thought of it caused her chest to tighten slightly.

Fandral had found the cute brunette again and they were heading off into the crowd, the blonde having no anxiety over getting lost.  He was a go with the flow kind of man, and he'd come back when he wanted to.  Volstagg bee lined to a food stand and was sneakily trying to cut in line, yet his sheer size gave him away more times than his trick worked.

Hogun went off to the games, choosing a dart game and waiting for others to challenge him.  His aim was near perfect, and Loki had no doubt he would be coming back to Asgard with a ridiculous amount of game winnings.  One could only imagine so many giant stuffed animals traveling the Bifrost...

Meanwhile, after Sif had calmed herself they decided to explore before settling to do one thing.  They walked further into the park, Sif never letting go of Loki's hand.  He didn't mind whatsoever and was glad she found comfort in him.  The couple stepped over plenty of spilled drinks and forgotten popcorns before finding one ride that neither of them understood.

"What in Valhalla's name does that even do?" Sif asked, peering at the ride.  It was nothing like a roller coaster.  In fact, it looked more like a tall and colorful structure with dazzling lights covering it's surface.  What intrigued them were the multiple cage like boxes coming out of the sides.
