“Guinevere I'm sorry but there is no way the infinity stone should have cracked it's a strong substance make from our magical energy. Merlin absorbed the excess before either spread through the whole castle.” My father was trying to explain. “The castle we are in right now was made a long time ago during the beginning of magic, before humans came it was all magical creatures and they created humans. We are no different from humans besides we understand an extra part of our mind that normal are to scared to even realize they have.”
“Father I know all of that, but I'm telling you what happened, I cracked the stone.” I tried to get him I understand.
“Impossible.” He shrugged it off.
“Thought to be and was impossible, we just didn't know about you.” Merlin joined at the dining room table we were sitting at. “That energy I stopped was far greater than I've ever felt I looked into Wolam Witch oath ceremonies and made a quick visit to your island the oath you have up does help control your powers, it limits the kind to only elemental powers, otherwise Wolam Witches have immense power that unlike other forms of magic, has not changed since the beginning of magic. At that moment you had so much build up that scream that brought me running to your room expelled the energy that cracked the stone.”
“You visited the island!” I jumped and zoned out almost everything he said after that.
“Yes but before you got here you know your customs they won't let you return out of fear of everyone realizing the truth.” Merlin turned his eyes away from me. “You wouldn't have been banished from hot competing the oath. Really all your customs were created by your mother, who also isn't limited to elements. She cast a spell for everything to seem that is was always so. Truly when you took your sister's place, you didn't take her place. This is what I needed to tell you earlier, you didn't take her place, you took her destiny.”
“Her destiny?”
“She is Uther's child and the rightful heir to Camelot, Morgan La Fay the next Queen of Camelot. By taking her destiny you fated yourself to be entwined with the Camelot royal family, you have altered your bloodline and are now partly Uther's daughter.” Merlin made no sense.
“She's my daughter not that sorcerer slaughterer who cursed another princess just to have an heir!” My father exploded.
“She is your daughter still, and her mother's daughter, but she is now Uther's as well. It's as if she had three parents.” Merlin tried to calm my father down.
“Uther cursed a Princess to have Arthur?” I asked.
“Last question I am answering before I ask a few of my own. “Merlin shook his finger at me. “Uther was desperate to have a child to be his heir that wasn't Morgan La Fay. I regret it but I had to make allies with Camelot to better protect my people. Uther didn't curse anyone, I nearly found the youngest princess of s tiny kingdom that has so many possible heirs, I cast an illusion so every time she saw Uther she imagined the person she loved. Giving birth to Arthur caused a fault in the enchantment and she saw who she had married. That night she threw- herself off of the armory tower. Uther still doesn't understand and has no idea my true hand in this, he only thinks I introduced him to someone who was absolutely devoted to wanting h, he says I have him the love of his life.”
Everything went silent with his confession, I looked around and saw the smiling if all the people in his kingdom. His choice saved all of them, that's what a ruler is supposed to do. How am I ever going to be able to replace him?
“Now for my question, such energy required a lot of built up to be released. May I ask what caused the build up?” Merlin sat forward looking at me.
