Still covered in the remains of Avalon's once proud castle I heaved my chest as much as I could just to inhale the dust and debris that clung to the air. I was barely able to breathe through the weight on my chest, between Peter and the fallen infinity stone I was lucky to be alive. I guess having a room in a tall tower has its advantages when everything comes crashing down. Moving my arm I noticed it was now free from the crack, but my leg was stuck under a large stone beam. Peter was still unconscious, or maybe even dead at this point. I couldn't tell if he was breathing, there was too much shifting above us to try and tell.
Focusing on my emotions I tried to feel the castle and try to send my mind tracing all around us to see if there was a way we could escape. I was able to see a little bit around us to know there was hope if the beam on my leg was removed, we would be able to make a clear shot to where the window was where there is a small opening that we may just fit through. If I tried to search any farther through the castle past the borders of my room nothing would show, it's as if my room was disconnected from the rest of the castle. The only way to get out is if Peter was to squeeze out and go get help, the beam may shift enough to let him out, but not to free me. The problem is he's not awake.
I shifted as well as I could to be able to try and wake him up but every small motion tugged at my foot, it didn't hurt but i was worried if I shift too much that the beam may gain too much extra weight from other objects falling on it. Poking at Peter's side for what felt like an hour his eyes gently started to flicker, at least he's alive. As he started to stir he gently shifted as if to stretch, "Peter stop moving or you may crush us worse." I groaned.
His eyes shot opened when I spoke and he looked straight at me, a small ray of light started to glow around us. "Are you alright?" He asked in his usual worried tone.
"You know with how much you worry over me you'd think we would've known each other more than over a month." I tried to laugh but it came out in more heavy grunts. "If you can manage to crawl past the beam by my foot there is a small tunnel that leads to an opening where the window was, it may be the only way to get free."
"What about you? I'm not going to leave you here." He tried to act all brotherly.
"Now is not a time for you to be a hero, you may be my half brother but you have a duty to the kingdom before me. They're all missing and you have to follow your duty to them." I ordered.
"Guinevere they're all safe. Everyone has been moved to a safe location and won't be harmed. Now I'm worried about you before anything else happens. I don't know what Uther is planning but all I know is Camelot would face worse than a civil war if you were found dead in these ruins." Peter explained. "It was only a the day after you left that Uther claimed Lancelot was once again in Camelot, but planning to assassinate him under the effect that Avalon has been protecting him this entire time. Uther instantly sent troops to Avalon but we have more than just Lancelot in Camelot, as you know, they informed us and everyone left before they showed up. Then we got news that someone was in the castle and we heard nothing about another attack coming in from Camelot we believed it may be Lancelot. I came here but with the rate at which the castle was turning black I knew it had to be you. After seeing what you had done to your room I didn't know anyone else to have raw Wolam witch to do something like this."
"You're sure that everyone is safe? My family, my father?" I was undeniably worried.
"They're all safe. Papa is too, I know you're worried about him but he's more worried about you. I barely got him into the carriage to leave, he wanted to run after you and make sure you were safe. He was afraid that if he didn't reach you before you returned to Camelot that Uther would kill you too." Peter grunted as he shifted his hand towards his belt.
