In the woods I hid behind a tree watching the clearing where I almost told Lancelot everything. I was hoping he would show, with his mysterious disappearance from his cell the kingdom was in a frenzy, no one would notice if the Queen wasn't in her chambers. I told Arthur that I was going to remain in my closet area and lock the doors, surprisingly I guess he believed me.
"Guinevere?" Lancelot appeared behind me causing me to jump.
After catching my breath I lunged myself at Lancelot and together we fell to the ground, we laughed as we rolled into a tree. Looking into his eyes I couldn't help myself and I grabbed his neck pulling myself closer and I kissed him, as he kissed back.
"I have missed you so much Guin, I swear I had no intentions on killing Uther I just wanted to make sure you'd be safe after Avalon was attacked." Lancelot help me close.
"Uther accused you of attempted assassination of him so he could attack Avalon, the day when we were saying goodbye. I don't care if you meant to or not but I'm so happy you are alive and you can go free."
"Come with me, to Avalon. We can make a life there where you can be free of Arthur. We can do whatever we want, and maybe start a family of our own."
"I'd love nothing more than that. But what about your loyalty to Arthur?"
"I overheard him talking before I escaped, there was no way he wasn't going to execute me right on the spot, but he had a plan. He wanted to make me suffer as much as he could."
"How would he do that?"
"I won't say, it's better that you don't know. But I have no more loyalty to him and who cares what I have said in the past, Guinevere I want you to be in my life forever and to never have to let you go."
"Lancelot, there's nothing more I would want but a life with you. But right now I have to protect Avalon, and having power in Camelot may be the only way I can do that. Camelot doesn't know where they are and neither do I, but I swore to Avalon long before Camelot and even though I gave up the throne my vows are still there."
"I understand. I can't have you for the rest of our lives until Avalon is safe, so I shall protect Avalon with all my life so that one day we can be together. I ask you to take this bracelet, it will help you hide your powers. This is how I've survived Camelot, it blocks your powers and all you have to do is take it off. If I can't have you I will still protect you. But for now, all I ask is to have you to myself for one night."

(8 months later)
"Come on Guinevere you can do this. One, two, three push!" The doctor said as maids held my hands.
I remember screaming as loud as I could and pushing with all my might, I may not remember much but the first sounds of crying would always be in my mind. "Your highness, it's a son." I was handed a small blanket with a small baby.
I smiled down at him and it was the happiest moment of my life. He was so small and as he opened his eyes to look at me I could see his eyes were his father's.
"My Queen, the King is outside waiting shall we invite him in?" My mind froze for a second as I continued to stare at the baby. I nodded my head slowly knowing I'd have to let him in.
"Guinevere, is it true?" Arthur had just returned from his long journey to all the allies. "I'm a father." His eyes were happy again like he was the kind person I knew from long ago and not the King.
"What is the young Prince's name your highnesses?" A maid asked in a small voice.
"We should name him after my father." Arthur suggested as he turned to me, no way my child would be named after him.
"I've already chosen a name, Allister." I smiled.
"Allister means defender of mankind, I think it's a lovely name." The maid clapped for us.
Arthur looked down to the small baby, slightly disappointed not getting him way, "Well there's one thing I know, Allister doesn't have my eyes."
