I woke up on a soft bed. A really soft my bed. I don't think I've ever felt such a soft bed before. I sunk into the mattress and the comforter was really soft.

Suddenly, my memory came back and my eyes flung open. I shot upright and gasped. I was on a bed and there were bars around the bed, trapping me on the bed. The room was dimly lit by four small lamps I saw around the room. There was other furniture in the room and it made it look like a regular, cozy room. Except it wasn't. It was an unfamiliar, cold, dark room. And I wanted more than anything to be out of it and be back at home with my family. And Jessie.

And Clint...

I wondered if he knew I was missing yet. I wondered if he was worried about me. I wondered if he was looking for me...

I grabbed one of the bars and shook it furiously, hoping I might loosen it.

Not likely.

I felt the fear build up inside of me and tears ran down my cheeks. This can't be happening...

"Lexi..."

I turned and saw Mike Hank standing the doorway of the unfamiliar room. I backed away to the opposite side of the bed as he walked over. He wrapped a hand around one of the bars.

"It's okay...you don't have to be afraid of me. I'm not gonna hurt you." Mike said softly.

"L-Let me go." I whimpered.

"I don't think so." Mike shook his head.

"You can't keep me here!" I cried.

"I can and I will." Mike stroked my leg. "You're mine now, Lexi. You better get used to this life now because I am never letting you go. You're a keeper." I turned away as tears poured out of my eyes. "It's a shame that Clint won't be coming to your rescue this time."

"F-Fu-Fuck you." I sobbed.

Mike reached through and wrapped his hand around my neck. He pulled me to him and I gasped. He stared at me with a frown stretched across his face. Then, he smiled softly and let me go. I coughed and backed away.

"That's alright. You don't have to like me, but you have no choice other than to stay here with me." Mike smirked.

I rubbed my neck and glared at him. "I hate you."

Mike's smile grew. "That's alright. You have a right to hate me, but you're never leaving. You will never see Clint or your family or friends again. Just me."

I started crying and turned away from him. Mike suddenly opened the door to the sort of cage and closed it behind him. He turned to me and inched towards me.

"I guess now we can finish what we started." Mike smiled.

I quickly backed away. "No! No! Go away!"

Mike grabbed me and pinned me down onto my back. I cried and screamed. Mike gagged me and tied my arms behind me to shut me up. I pulled against the ropes binding me. Mike smiled evilly down at me.

"Struggle all you want," Mike said slowly. "You're mine now."

Clint reached Mike's house and walked up the front porch. He rung the doorbell and the door opened. Clint saw Mike's parents. It was a good thing Clint never met Mike's parents or his plan wouldn't work.

"Detective Bradshaw. Secret Agent. May I come in? I have some questions about your son." Clint said.

The parents exchanged looks. "Where's your badge?" The dad asked.

Clint pulled out his fake Secret Agent badge and showed it to the adults. The studied it before letting him into the house. Clint pulled out a notepad and pen.

"When was the last time you saw your son?" Clint asked.

"Not since the day he tried to rape that girl." The mom said.

"Are you aware that your son is the main suspect in the same girl's disappearance?" Clint said. The parents didn't say anything. "May I take a look in his room?"

"Follow me." The dad said.

Clint followed him to Mike's room. It was messy and his things were scattered all over the floor and bed. The parents left Clint to investigate. Clint went through his dressers quickly, hoping to find something.

Suddenly, a shoe box fell from the top of a dresser Clint was searching and photos spilled out all over the floor. Clint knelt down and picked up some of the photos. He flipped through them and saw they were all of Lexi. Some of them were taken of her at school, others were of her in a public place, and there were even some when she was in her house. Clint suddenly found others and he felt fear shoot through him. There was a picture of Lexi asleep in her bed and it was taken from inside her room. Clint came to the conclusion Mike had an insane obsession with her.

As Clint put the pictures back in the shoe box to take back as evidence, he saw an address written on the top of the shoe box. Clint pulled out his phone, typed in the address to his GPS, and waited. The address came up about an hour and a half away. Clint turned off his phone, picked up the shoe box, walked out of the room, and met the parents in the living room.

"Thank you for your cooperation, but I found enough evidence," Clint said. "Have a nice evening."

Clint didn't wait for them to reply. He slipped out of the house and walked to the car. He opened the door and got in. As he pulled out of the driveway, he turned on his GPS and started driving to the house.

Clint thought he should go to the police about what he found, but he wanted to deal with Mike himself. He wanted to show Lexi how much he loved her. He knew that he'd find her. He would never stop looking. Even after everybody else did. He would look until he knew she was safe at home. Until she was safe with him.

And nobody would ever hurt her again. Not unless he was alive and breathing...
