tie a noose around my heart
slowly crushing every part
of me that ever loved you.
you were intoxicating,
you were medicating.
you were my everything
the late nights we spent texting.
just went to waste
all that time I chased after you
never meant a thing.
it still stings.
when I was with you
I thought I was in Euphoria
then you found a girl, "Victoria"
who I guess was a better catch
then I was ever a Match
with you.
Hey, remember me?
we met in PE.
we hung out all summer?
you don't? that's a bummer.
I asked for your Name
you said Insecure and crazy
I said I loved that name
this seemed like another game
but the regret never came.
I was never the same
I was happy as could be.
but soon it all seemed like a dream.
as my mind started to scream
this is just a movie playing on a screen
"why do you have to be so mean?"
because you need a shot of reality.
you think the world is full of congeniality
but in confidentiality
the world is a blur
and will never be more then
another nightmare, where hearts break
and pieces of you fade
