Poisoned

I drift out of continuousness a couple of times in the ambulance and I'm still half blind when we arrive at the hospital. I have no clue which hospital it is but I can tell it's not the small clinic in Fonsville because there's too many doctors nursing me. They scream things to others, do things that are meant to make sure I'm not dying but I'm not aware of anything. All I see, hear and feel is a gigantic blurry fog surrounding me it's empty yet filling up my chest and lungs. I can't breath though it seems as if I've stopped coughing blood. The doctors seems to have made the conclusion that I'm okay for now so some leave the room while a young nurse offers to stay with me to see if anything happens. Then it comes, out of the blue, out of freaking nowhere like everything today. What does the world have against me?! The burning feeling of a full moon fills me and I hastily close my eyes. I can almost feel them glowing their bright warm orange and though I try to mentally push down the fangs they are determined to stay out just like my claws.

"Man" I hear the nurse mumble and I grab her arm. She can't go and get the other doctors. They will think I'm a monster and kill me! (I know it seems like a strange though but I'm panicking as always so just leave it alone thx).

"Oh, don't worry" she whispers.

"What?"

"I'm gonna go get the right person" she says kindly and I'm so surprised so that I let her go without thinking. The right person?

Within a minute the nurse is back with an other nurse or maybe he's a doctor idek.

"Uncontrollable transformation" he mumbles and places his hands on my arm, his hands are warm and strong. "This is gonna hurt" he warns me and I suspect that he'll be taking a blood sample or something but no. He breaks my arm! And yeah also that came out of nowhere.

"OUCH!" I scream and immediately jerk my arm away and stand up to get away from him. "What did you do that for?" I hear how muffled my voice sounds and realise I'm still not human.

"I needed to start your healing" he calmly explains. "Oh and by the way I'm Marcus" he introduces himself as if we're about to be best friends. I can tell you one thing, we are not.

"What?" I still don't understand.

"You've been poisoned with wolfsbane" he sighs as if I should know exactly what he's talking about, I don't.

"Is that shit for real?" I ask surprised and realise I'm actually starting to feel better.

"Yes" the male nurse answers me and thanks the female nurse for coming to get him.

"Who are you?" I ask though I have seen movies and know that the question is stupid and silly.

"Marcus, I just told you" Marcus teases me but the smile in his lips that so quickly appeared disappears just as quickly when he hears my annoying grunt.

"Hey, kiddo why don't you calm down?" He places a friendly hand on my shoulder and I try to back away but his grip is firm. "Breath" he instructs me. I breath and breath and breath and breath a bit more and eventually it happens like magic, I'm human again.

"Seriously, who are you?" I ask again though I should ask him how the hell he knew about werewolves.

"I'm Marcus like I've said twice today but in case you wanted to know more I'm Marcus Walker"

"Why the fuck does everyone have so common names?" I sigh louder than intended.

"Because they're common" Marcus laughs. Should I think of him as Mr Walker?  No, he introduced himself as Marcus.

"But-but how did you-you- you knew" I stammer.

"Yes of course I knew about the wolfsbane" Marcus chuckles kindly "it's not a secret among wolfs that the flower is poisonous to werewolves." Marcus looks at me, like really looks at me with that intensity of realisation. "You don't know I'm a werewolf do you?" He sounds almost amazed. "But, you're- you're older than fourteen aren't you?"
