As the car came closer to me, I placed my hands in front of me and looked away.
After a few seconds, I realized the car had not hit me but went over me.
There was some force field around me.
Just around me.
And I saw Isobel making the force field.
After the car finished driving over the force field it went away.
And I couldn't see it anymore.
I quickly ran to Emily.
Her dead body was before my eyes.
I heard police cars.
I decided to stay.
To answer questions.
Maybe have a closure.
*****************
Black seems to be my color.
I wore it once again.
With a nice gold braided belt over the dress.
Emily's parents had asked me to attend the funeral.
You know, to say a few words.
They claimed that I was the "closest" friend she had.
Once I arrived, I saw Hunter.
They were pretty close too.
And Dan and his mom.
And then, her parents.
They weren't crying. But it looks like they were before.
I saw everyone gathering into the church.
Emily's mom spoke first.
And then her dad.
Then Dan.
And now me.
I walked towards the podium.
My black dress draped behind me. And I began to speak.
"A room of laughter.
And cheer and happiness.
And then a wallflower. But the wallflower had a friend.
I- uhm.
This is story.
I'm just going to tell you a story.
Of a wallflower and it's best friend.
This wallflower never had anyone that thought so much like it.
Until it met the other wallflower.
For 8 years, the two wallflowers made each other happy.
They understood each other.
Until one wallflower decided to stab the other wallflower.
It said mean things to it. And acted like they were never best friends.
And for many weeks, they didn't speak, for the wallflower felt betrayed and hurt.
And after a while, the wallflower decided to apologize. It said it missed her and wanted to be her friend again.
Except, the wallflower that got betrayed didn't want to be friends again.
She was hurt and didn't want to get hurt again.
But the wallflower kept apologizing. And talking. And talking.
And this wallflower got annoyed.
And it wished. It deeply wished for the other wallflower to stop talking.
And her line was cut.
The demons had cut her life line.
And the wallflower got it's wish.
I got my wish.
For Emily to stop talking"
The room was confused.
I didn't expect for anyone to understand.
After the service, I sneaked into the room with Emily's coffin.
I slowly walked towards it.
I held in my hand a flower.
I hate flowers, which is why I lit this flower on fire.
I opened the coffin.
Her dead body lay before my eyes.
Her hands placed together.
I slipped the flower in her hand.
And the flower began to burn her hands before it went out.
"Emily, I want you to rest in peace. I, Uh, I know someone. Who killed herself. Because she wasn't loved. And I know her soul isn't resting in peace.
Her soul is resting in hate and loneliness.
I don't want that for you.
So, yes. I will forgive you.
JUST so your soul can rest.
And also, I owe you a 'thank you'.
So.
Thank you.
For not talking"
I smiled at the last part.
Knowing that her soul will now, rest in peace.
