I arrived in the armory and saw the knights heading in the direction of the stables. I followed them and found a horse that didn't have a knight yet. After I mounted it, I got in formation with everyone else. I was at the front of the left column. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy were in front, facing us. Peter's horse stepped forward and he cleared his throat before speaking.

"Knights of Narnia! Today, we fight to defend our land. The Laighins cannot take our lands by force. Fight with the bravery I know you all have in your hearts. For Narnia! And for Aslan!" Peter shouted the final part. The knights repeated the call and we rode off. It was a slow and boring journey. Finally after a few hours, we arrived at a cliff that looked familiar. This was the cliff that overlooked where they had defeated the White Witch. Far in the distance, I saw columns of another army. The majority of the Narnians followed gradual path that our horses could walk, down the cliff face while the archers remained there. We went to our smaller formations and waited for the signal. Soon enough, I heard Susan's horn and I looked up to see griffins and hippogriffs flying above us, carrying rocks. They were going to be circling the battlefield, watching for anyone in trouble.

Upon seeing our aerial coverage, the Laighins began charging. Peter raised his sword and pointed it towards them, signaling our charge. I pressed my heels into the sides of my horse and as one army, we rode to battle. After about 2 minutes, the two armies met and we began the fight. Being at the front of a formation, I was one of the first to enter combat. My heart was racing as I encountered my first enemy. I began slashing and stabbing, using the skills that Peter had taught me. Soon enough, my first enemy had fallen. I realized that troops on both sides had dismounted and begun fighting on foot. I did the same and my horse ran off. The battle became a blur of strikes and blocks. I was in the middle of the carnage when an enemy soldier knocked off my helmet and hood of my chainmail. I stabbed them in the stomach and they fell to the ground.

Susan's horn sounded once again, signaling our retreat to the rocks. I ran in that direction as quick as I could. My braid was flowing behind me as I ran and wisps of my red curls came out and framed my face. I arrived at the rocks and saw the archers fire their arrows into the enemy formations. The griffins and hippogriffs followed the volley of arrows with a launch of boulders crushing a good deal of the army. The rest of the enemy continued their charge to the rocks and we met once again. The battle raged on and I soon found myself fighting near Peter and Edmund. Oh no. Peter is sure to notice a knight with long, red hair. Sure enough, I soon heard his all too familiar voice.

"Elizabeth?! What in Aslan's name are you doing here?!" Peter yelled angrily. I stabbed another enemy and turned to him.

"Now is not the time to be asking that Peter! I'll explain later!" I shouted back at him. That boy needs to sort out his priorities. Peter huffed, probably out of frustration with me and exhaustion from the battle. I went back to fighting the enemy, as did Peter.

After what felt like hours, there were only a few enemy soldiers left. We had thankfully, lost very few knights. I stabbed a final enemy soldier and turned to face where I had last seen Peter. He stabbed the last enemy that was near him and faced me. To my horror, the enemy he had just stabbed lifted his sword up and stabbed Peter through the chest. Peter fell to his knees and onto his side. I looked on in horror, not knowing what to do. My mouth opened and I could feel myself screaming his name but couldn't hear my voice. I ran to his side and fell to my knees. His breathing was ragged and his eyes were still open.

"Peter... please... stay with me... don't you dare leave me..." I sobbed. My nightmare had come true. The man that I was in love with was dying right before my eyes.
