Lindsey tripped over his own feet as he stumbled after Stevie, watching Mick take her in to his arms as he felt nothing of a hero, entering the plane as Stevie ran to the back room and Mick grabbed him by the shirt collar.
"ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT JUST HAPPENED OUT THERE?!" the larger man screamed and shoved Lindsey up against the door. "YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF AND STEVIE KILLED IN A MATTER OF SECONDS! WAKE THE FUCK UP BUCKINGHAM BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT IN L.A. ANYMORE!"
"Back the FUCK OFF!" Lindsey pressed his palms to Mick's chest to push him away from his body, the two man engaging in a small brawl as Christine held the sides of her head to scream. She came to break the two men apart and sat down on the closest seat, rocking back and forth and crying, John having to come to her rescue yet again as she experienced another extreme panic attack.
"Chrissy," John began while sitting next to her, "...calm down love this is not worth it."
"Do you see this?" Mick looked at Lindsey and held out a hand. "Do you see what we're going through?"
"Do you THINK I can't see? Huh?" Lindsey huffed and passed them all by to give Karen a look, wanting to make amends with Stevie as he found the bedroom door to be unlocked. "Stevie..." he opened the door slowly to find her turning away from him already. "Stevie I am sorry," Lindsey cautiously stepped in to the room to close the door behind him, getting down on his knees in front of her to beg for forgiveness. "I should have listened to you but I didn't and I put not only me but you in harms way so for that I am not proud, nor am I happy about it. Stevie," wrapping his arms around her knees to lay his head apon her lap, "...I love you - I love you so much more than I can say," a warm tear escaping his eyes.
Her voice was raw from the screaming and crying, breaking with every other word. "I just watched a tribe of men drag you out of the plane and on to the sand to behead you - do you have any clue to what I have just been through?! Those are not men and I felt the second I saw them reveal themselves from that brush! I begged you not to say a word, to let them pass us by, to not make our presence known but you did it anyway! I could be with out you right now, I could be holding your severed fucking head in my hands! Do you not think of anything before you do it?!"
He looked up at her and every bit of makeup had been cried off. "I do realize all of that and you were almost taken from me but like hell I would EVER let someone take you away that easily!" gripping on to her face. "I'd sacrifice my life for you and I was so close to doing so as I stood up to them! You're not the only one that experienced something traumatic - they were dragging you away from me in front of my own fucking eyes! I'd let them kill me before I'd let you suffer."
"Don't you ever speak like that to me - don't ever say that you would kill yourself for me! I will not live in a world that does not have you in it so help me God!"
Lindsey got up from his knees and sat beside her to pull her close, he tucked the hair behind her ears and then made way for her mouth for a slow and steady kiss, his hands resting on her shoulders to move down her arms. "I screwed up," whispering against her lips, "...and I will never do anything with out asking you again, I promise. I'll get you out of here and I will bring you home."
"Where are we, Lindsey?" with her arms wrapped around his neck and her head on his shoulder. "What kind of person in this day and age still beheads people?"
"That's the thing baby, I don't know where we are, and from the looks of it I don't believe they have ever seen a world off this island."
"Did you hear that awful animal screaming? I can still hear it and it chills my bones."
