Stevie woke up with a heaviness to her bladder and knowing that if she didn't leave this tent for the plane's bathroom she would pee herself, nervously looking over at Lindsey that was too peaceful to wake, remembering how tough of a day he had from catching fish with his bare hands. He'd done it for the whole band but she knew that he'd shown off just for her, a smile curling across her lips and giving him a light kiss.
Lily wagged her tail as she looked up at Stevie that was gently petting her back then watching as she unzipped the tent, only to zip it back up to head for the plane, using her memory and touch to remember how to get to the toilet safely; the only source of light was the bon fire Mick had created hours ago, the fire flickering dimly but enough for her to reach the door. Stevie felt her way to her destination then was finally able to relieve herself, not paying attention to Mick's rules as she washed her hands, wiping them on the side of her nightgown and carefully making her way back through the plane. A noise caught her attention and she froze with her heart beating in her chest, she almost couldn't breathe but shook it off, the sound of rustling once more as a hand covered her mouth. One of the natives had followed her in to the plane with out her knowledge and was directed to return with the "light haired bride", Stevie too weak to fight against the tall younger man and his smell atrocious, wanting to scream but it coming out as a muffled cry.
She was dragged across the sand and passed by the others unkown to her kidnapping, Lily barking once sensing her mistress in trouble, Lindsey opening his eyes to find that Stevie was missing.
"Steph?" he sat up straight and looked about the tent to know there was no way for her to hide, exiting the tent as Lily went running off in to the dark. "Lily no!" calling out to the dog but her disappearing, Lindsey calling out to Stevie again as Mick and John approached from their tent.
"What's going on?" asked Mick.
"Have you seen Stevie?" Lindsey asked while running towards the two men. "Is she with you?" placing is hands to Mick's shoulders.
"No, mate, what is going on?" the tall man asked again while John stared blankly.
"Oh my God," whispered Lindsey then began unzipping the tent Christine and Karen were using. He checked to see if Stevie was with them but she was no where to be seen.
"Can you tell me what is going on?" Mick asked again.
Lindsey stood with his hands on the side of his head. "Stevie is missing, I can't find her!"
"Bloody hell!" Mick began for the plane to notice the door was wide open, entering the plane to search for her and tripping over something that wrapped around his ankle; it was the necklace of the native that'd kidnapped Stevie. "What is this?" he spoke to himself then brought it out in to the light to show Lindsey.
Lindsey snatched the necklace from Mick and stared at it. "They took her!" tossing the necklace to the ground as he began to run off on foot.
"What?! Who?! Them?! The natives?!" Mick yelled as Lindsey didn't have time to discuss, not caring what he may come in contact with as the tribal music in the distance carried him to where he knew he'd have to be.
...
Stevie moaned as the noise around her had her coming to, a severe migrane from the blow to her head, unfamiliar faces looking down at her and chanting as she screamed. They had covered her from head to toe in flowers and an elderly woman started a prayer ritual as the younger natives danced, Stevie's arms tied together above her head.
"Help! Help! Lindsey, help me!" cried Stevie with her face beet red, the fear of the unknown striking through her. What did they want with her?
Her scream carried through out the island and Lindsey stopped dead in his tracks. "STEVIE!"
The natives carried her up a flight of stairs then through an opening in the large wall that was stories high, tying her to two posts as she fought for freedom; never in her life - in her luxurious life did she think that she'd be kidnapped by a tribe of natives!
"Oh please stop, please! I can give you money - so much money that you won't have to live like this anymore! Please, someone listen to me!" her voice raw and hoarse, tossing her head back to sob.
Once the music they were creating stopped then Stevie stopped crying as well, wondering to what they were going to do to her as they all ran back behind the wall and stared at her from what looked to be a "safe" place. A large gong was hit and her heart did a somersault in her chest, a roar - the same exact roar she heard days ago heard miles away.
"Oh my God, no," assuming that she was to be food for some carnivorous creature. "Please no, please!" pulling on the ropes that bound her wrists.
Her eyes traced the trees in front of her and one by one they came tumbling down, her will to run strong but impossible, the largest creature she'd ever seen landing on four feet just inches from her. Stevie let out a blood curdling scream and if she didn't know better she could have sworn she'd pissed herself, the gigantic ape raising a hand to touch her face, playing with a strand of her hair and completely captivated with her features. Kong was just as curious with Stevie as the natives were, they've never sacrificed a "light colored" woman before, which for Stevie this was a plus if she was wanting to survive in the hands of this beast.
He let out a roar of approval then a flare went up behind the wall as the natives scrambled for safety, Lindsey and Mick forcing themselves in to the tribal city as Kong wrapped a hand around Stevie's waist. Lindsey heard her terrfied screams and ran up the stairs to the large wall, his pupils dilating once he saw what was behind it, Stevie limp in Kong's hand as he then made eye contact with the beast.
"Where is she?! Did you find her?!" Mick went climbing up the stairs in a hot sweat, running in to Lindsey as his legs were weak.
Lindsey stared with his eyes wide open through the crack in the wall and Mick turned him around to shake him. "Did you find her?! Lindsey what did you see?!"
"I don't know..." answered Lindsey.
"What do you mean you don't know?!"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," Lindsey looked up at his friend that was still breathing heavily from their run.
"What the fuck are you talking about?! Talk to me!" Mick demanded with his teeth grinding.
"You've got to go back to warn the others," Lindsey began to gather whatever he could as a weapon around him, reaching for one of the fire sticks on the wall.
"Warn them about what?"
"It took her! I don't know what it was but I swear to you that it was an ape, a gorilla!"
"A gorilla took Stevie?"
"I'm not going to stand here and justify what I saw! I saw it with her in it's hands and I'm going to get her back!"
"Then I'm coming with you," Mick said.
"No," Lindsey shook his head, "...you've got to go back and warn them, tell them, stay on the other side of this wall!"
"You're going to go out in to that jungle by yourself?!"
"I don't have a choice!" Lindsey yelled with tears in his eyes. "Now go back to the plane and if I'm not back in a few days... well then you know what to do."
"What to do?" Mick kept questioning.
"Jesus Christ! Mick just do it!" spatting at him one last time before he kicked the door down to step through the wall on to the other side.
