The more Kong ran with Stevie gripped inside his large hand she was becoming sicker by the minute, her head dizzy and on the brink of losing consciousness as her stomach began to grumble, knowing now that she was going to be vomiting up her last meal.

Being the size that this beast was had him unaware of just how hard it was for Stevie to take lightly to his running, climbing, and jumping. Luckily he stopped near a large waterfall and sat down next to it to take pride in his gift, opening his hand to look down at Stevie that had bright red eyes from tears. Kong used a finger to run across her flushed face and with out any warning she covered her mouth with her hand to throw up, shivering and shaking with hopes she was dreaming. How could any of this exist? How could an island with an overgrown ape be running a village of natives?

"Please..." she begged and sat up on her wobbling knees, "...take me back - take me back to the village."

OF course being a gorilla her language did not connect to Kong's but he had a sense of her feelings as he laid her down next to the roaring water below, Stevie dipping a hand in to the crystal river to engulf the water, coughing up some then splashing it on to her face. She could feel ants crawling up her legs and freaked out, shrieking and jumping up from where she sat, backing in to Kong and looking up at him. Stevie wanted to run - to attempt her best at heading back towards the other side of the island where the plane went down, looking at her surroundings and everything looking exactly the same.

Kong yawned and lifted a rock up that he leaned against, picking at all the bugs and critters underneath, Stevie feeling her stomach turn again. There was nothing for her to eat, how could she even survive out here? There was more chance of survival with the rest of her bandmates than this!

As Kong began to sit idle and keep watch over Stevie he started to feel his eyes grow heavy, her now thinking an escape plan was absolutely possible, sitting upon a rock and keeping her arms folded across her chest for some sort of comfort.

"Sleep, go to sleep," whispered Stevie as she watched her captor drifting off; she wanted to be able to run before it got too dark.

His large arm came down beside her and he laid down his head, Stevie almost afraid that he'd smash her at first but it looked to be his intentions of keeping her safe near him, again not believing that any creature like this could exist.

Making a go for it was when Stevie carefully and cautiously began to step further away from the animal, accidentally stepping on a stick as she winced with closed eyes, opening them slowly to make sure he hadn't been disturbed. He wasn't so she walked further and further away near the waterfall, around it then through a break in the brush, taking off running and not looking back.

...

Back closer towards the village was where Lindsey was struggling himself, now shirtless and fighting off all sorts of bugs with the dimming fire stick, wiping his brow that was dripping with sweat. He should have thought of water - of any sort of nourishment before he ran off but his only thought was to save Stevie, to find Stevie and bring her back to him, already in complete fear that she may not be alive. How could anyone, human or not survive a large gorilla encounter?

Lindsey took a second to breathe and sat down behind a tree to catch his breath, tears trickling down his face as he thought of how afraid she must be, how helpless and vulnerable she'd be in a large wilderness.

"I'm sorry baby, I am so sorry," he spoke to himself and sniffed, rubbing at his eyes; Lindsey felt this was all his fault.

Eventually he got back up and steadied himself, reminding him that Stevie needed him to stay strong, starting back on his path then his ankle cracking as he cried out in pain; Lindsey went tumbling down the side of a hill and in to a ditch that was covered in giant centipedes. He had lost any sort of weapon that he'd been carrying with him but then caught a glimpse of it underneath the jurassic creatures, using the mud around him to attempt blinding his suitors.

"Fuck you - fuck you!" he yelled as they drew back then Lindsey able to snatch the sharp object back in to his hands to begin stabbing as many centipedes as he could.

Fortunately  Stevie was able to hear his screams and began to run faster, calling out his name in hopes that he'd hear her, unfortunately he was so focused on staying alive that her cries went unnoticed.

"Lindsey!" she wailed then fell to her knees covered in every and anything, sweat burning her eyes with her feet throbbing.

She walked on her hands and knees to a pond of water and began to drink, dunking in her head and tossing back her hair as it gave some relief to the humidity.

Looking down in to the water she was able to see her reflection and it horrified her, touching her face and seeing the bumps and bruises, traumatizing; but her reflection wasn't the only  one she saw as the image of a predator came to view.

"Oh my God," slowly turning her head in hopes she was seeing things but the familiar carnivore bared it's teeth. She stared in to the eyes of a Tyrannosaurus rex and her scream echoing for several miles, it's mouth opening wide as it attempted to eat her whole, Stevie rolling out of the way and getting back on her feet to run in the exact direction she had been running from.

The asthma Stevie was suffering from was catching up to her but there was no way she would let herself give up now, having already come so far through out the island on her own, sliding on a wet patch of grass that had her finding safety behind a large tree. She listened for the stomps of the T-rex and even covered her mouth in case the heavy breathing caught it's attention, her tears warm and raw to the corners of her eyes with her stomach in her throat.

Before she left the shelter of the tree she decided to take a glance around it but that being the worst idea yet, eyes wide and screaming again as the dinosaur was face to face with her, it catching the tree in it's mouth instead of her as she dodged.

Upon reaching a drop off in the ground was when Stevie knew that she was dead, the rex heading straight  for her as she looked down at the large drop - there'd be no way she'd survive that!

Just as her last breath was to be received is when Kong came climbing up the other side of the drop off, him roaring and distracting the rex as he grabbed him by the throat and picked Stevie up in one of his hands, her screaming the entire time as she was still not out of the woods yet.

Kong rolled across the ground with the T-rex and held Stevie up in to the air to keep his teeth from taking her with her feet dangling near the rex's mouth as she pulled her legs up as far as they could go, Kong punching the rex in the nose.

It was a fierce battle and impossible for Kong to outdo the strength of a Tyrannosaurus  with the use of only one hand, having to place Stevie high up in a tree as she clung to it, watching the gigantic ape wrestle and fight off one of the most deadliest of it's kind. At this point Stevie was admiring Kong for what he'd done, having saved her from a most vicious death, praying that he could ward off the other beast to not become it's dinner.

She watched in sheer fright, closing her eyes everytime Kong cried out in pain from getting stuck in the jaws of his competitor, not giving up in the least as he kept stamina until the rex met it's death.

Tears streaked her face as mosquitoes flew around her, hearing them against her ears but keeping all of her attention on the beast catching it's breath, meeting his eyes as he headed towards her direction. Stevie's hand reached out towards him as he came a little closer and her palm met his nose to press against it, her eyes showing adoration for what she'd never thought could be possible. Was she growing fond of Kong because he had now proven he was not her enemy?
