Chapter 9
Well I'm super bored and there's nothing for me to do. I wonder what school will be like tomorrow. I've never been to a school with as many students as this school. I might as well go get Adela and Annika for dinner.
While I head towards Adela's room, I see Sheyanna walk by with huge grin on her face. She saw me..crap...
"Omigosh heyyyy. Where are you going?"
"Um, I'm just going to get Adela and Annika so we can go to dinner together."
"Okay! Just wait for me!" Sheyanna quickly ran to her room.
What. Is. Happening? Ugh. I'll just not wait.
"JADE."
Startled, I jump and fall to the ground. Ouch. I look over and I see Annika laughing and Adela shaking her head.
"What the heck! You scared the crap out of meeee! Anyways, I was just stopping by to see if you would want to go to dinner with me?"
"I would, but I'm still full from lunch, and I need make sure I've got all my makeup planned out for tomorrow with Annika. You know, we need to make good first impressions." Adela says.
"Oh, okay. I'll see both of you later then."
After saying bye, I sense someone standing behind me. I turn around. Oh.
"So you ready to go, Jade?" Sheyanna asks.
"Yeah, lets head out..."
Okay, I've never met someone like Sheyanna. She had her hair curled, and she was in a short, tight dress. We were just going to DINNER. Nothing fancy there. I was in sweatpants, and had my hair in a messy bun. This girl...needs help. I might as well make small talk while heading to the cafeteria.
"So, you and Matt?"
"OMIGOSH. He's so useless now that we're on social."
Lord have mercy...
"Jade! Over here!"
I turn around, and I see Jack running up to us. The look on his face when he saw Sheyanna.
Priceless.
"Hi Jack, you look snazzy." Sheyanna said in a sing-songy voice, even though he was just wearing jeans and a hoodie.
"Ehh. Thanks." He replies.
Jack makes his way in between Julie and I. I see her frown from the corner of my eye.
"So can I join you for dinner? I mean...if you don't have anyone else to sit with."
"Of course! We can get to know each other better!" Sheyanna basically yells.
"I wasn't talking to you, Sheyanna."
Her face turns a bright red.
I roll my eyes. "Yeah, you can sit with us."
We reach the café and I instantly smell the lasagna, my favorite. After getting our food, we pick out a table in the far back of the café. Jack and I arrive at the table first, and Sheyanna is still in line chatting it up with some guy.
"How are we going to get rid of her?" Jack says with an annoyed look on his face.
"I'll handle it." I smirk.
When Sheyanna arrives at the table, I do my magic.
"Sheyanna, your mascara is clumping, you might want to fix it in the bathroom." I whisper into her ear.
She got red, and quickly left, not saying a word.
"Haha, wow, she actually believed you! So yeah, what did you want to tell me about her? Anything helps."
"Well, her name is Sheyanna, she's annoying...."
"I already know that, Einstein. Tell me something I don't know." He laughs.
"Okokokok. Well, she got on social with Matt after the barbeque. So you might want to be careful around her."
"Nu-uh. She didn't! That's just whack. She gets on social with my brother, and now she goes for me. Does she even know that we're twins?"
"Considering how dumb she is, I don't think so."
We both laugh for what felt like hours. Sheyanna finally comes back from her makeup check.
"This lasagna is gross. What is this made out of, cardboard?" She whines.
"What are you smoking? This is delicious." I say.
The rest of dinner is just silence, with some witty remarks from Sheyanna once in a while. She got three more servings of lasagna. Yet, she says it's gross. I can't help but notice the way Sheyanna looks at Jack.
Authors Note:
Well this is my last completed chapter. I combined a lot of chapters together....I originally had 12, but since some were a bit short I had to put them together. Uh.. yeah.
