After our midnight outing, classes broke for a couple weeks. They start back up tomorrow so me and Leo return to campus. We walk into the cafeteria and find our group. We sit down right before Weiss gets smacked in the face with a pie. A kid in the cafeteria stands up and cups his mouth "Food fight!" People start to fling food, trays, pretty much everything. I form barriers around my team and lift us into the air. I take us to the far wall and move the tables into a fortress. We stand ready to defend it. Until a sugar high Nora comes and smacks us off it. I land on a table and it breaks under me. I go to get up but someone lands on top of me. My vision focuses and she manages to her hands and feet. Lilac looks for what she landed on and quickly helps me up and I stand up beside her. The two teams had squared off, JNPR taking over our fort and RWBY on the side closest to the door. "Alright, let's make it hurt!" I grab some jello with telekinesis and send it to Lilac. She melts it and I form it into a sword. Yema takes a baguette and a summer sausage wields it like a blade dagger combo, Leo simply imitates Yang and grabs a pair of turkeys. We charge in and prepare to fight. The first person I encounter is Pyrrha, she has a baguette she uses as a sword. I go to swing and she blocks. I morph the blade around her baguette and form it into two separate strands. I form two barbed hooks and stab the baguette. I then pull it from her hand. She jumps back with an impressed look. "You've progressed well."

"I'm getting used to the scythe-less life." She spots a tray with another baguette. She pulls the tray but I try to counter her pull with one of my own, her polarity against my telekinetics. I feel a tray smack me on the back of the head and fall to the floor.

I wake up just in time to see a giant cyclone of debris flying at me. I form barriers to protect myself but the turbulence still knocks me against the wall. But the barriers keeps the stuff from staining my clothes. Goodwitch comes in and cleans up the wall. Yang comes crashing through the ce...wait, why is she falling through the ceiling? What did I miss! The team and I decide to head up to our room and play a game me and Leo picked up over the short break.

"Say hello to Heroes of Remnant. Me and Leo already have some decks built. I'll lend a deck to Lilac and Leo can lend one to Yema."

"What's the rules?"

"Okay so we each get a relic token and take turns setting up our side. We each get 3 lives. You lose a life by having one of your heroes killed by an opponent. The person to take your last life gets your relic tokens."

"Seems simple enough." Yema says confidently. I take two of my decks out of my bag and present them to Lilac, one is in a box with the words "Wolfsbane" written across it, and the other is in a box with the words "Angel of Death" written across it. Those being the respective names of the decks so I could remember the general theme of each deck. She grabs the Wolfsbane deck and I open up the Angel of Death deck.

Leo and Yema fall first, seeing as they were using decks Leo had put little thought into. It was just down to Me and Lilac, Each of us down to our last life, each holding two tokens, I draw and I feel the smile creep across my face, my trump card was there in all its holographic glory. "I sacrifice three dark crystals to retract Geist Major. I then play The Bell Tolls! It allows me to search my deck and summon Agathon the Reaper. I then equip Agathon with the Scythe of Rending Souls. I then sacrifice three Geist Majors to activate its special ability which allows me to double the power of all of Agathon's attacks. Including the boost he already gets from the scythe. On top of that, for every Geist in my graveyard I'm allowed to attach a dark crystal to him straight from my graveyard. Bringing enough crystals to activate his ultimate attack, Prepare for judgement!"

"Good move, But you activated one of The Holy Knight's abilities, soul search. Whenever a Dark Card is played with more than 1,000 HP, I'm allowed to retract him for no cost and replace him with a hero in my hand. I play Holy Maiden Sunne, who not only has a Heroic advantage, being a maiden against a huntsman, but a type advantage, a holy card against a dark card. I then equip her with the Staff of enlightenment, which doubles her attack and allows me to attach a light crystal for every holy knight on my bench. Giving me enough firepower for this, Sunne uses Enlightenment." I drop the cards in my hand, That wasn't even the best card in that deck yet it just wiped the floor with Agathon. I threw in the staff to make the card useable. Yet she built a whole endgame strategy revolving solely around that card.
