I couldn't sleep that night. My mind just kept wandering off to the numerous amount of things I could do to try and impress Ariana.

I laid awake in my room, gazing up at the ceiling. I had forgotten everything I had initially known about her. What if she didn't like my choice of flowers that I'd give her? What if I'd take her out to a restaurant and order something she was allergic to? What if I do something so embarrassing she'd never want to speak to me ever again?

Gemma had also constantly barged into my room to get me to talk about my plans, claiming she didn't want the date to 'flop'. She brought out a topic on Sabrina, and how I used to have terrible taste in women that she was absolutely surprised to see me like someone who's actually normal.

You could say I did not get a proper amount of sleep that night.

I was now sitting on the dining table, coffee in hand as I stared at my phone. I had just texted Ariana I'd be heading to her house at 11 am to pick her up for our date since today was her day off. I had planned everything out the night before.

"Hey mittens." I muttered, picking up my kitten as I place a peck on the top of her head. "I'm going on a date with Ariana today. Can you actually believe how lucky I am right now?"

"I'm going on a date with Ariana. I'm going on a date with Ariana." I started chanting, dancing around with Mitten in my arms after I had finished the cup of coffee that I had made. I had decided to make my own coffee and not go to the coffee shop just because I had to go over my plans for the day, and because I had to buy some flowers for Ariana.

I raced towards my room, taking off my shirt before completely coming to a halt. Walking towards my curtains, I had finally covered up my window. The last time I forgot to do that, a little girl had seen me completely naked.

After wasting so much time on looking for the perfect outfit, I had just decided to pick out some simple clothes, putting on some jeans and a white shirt with some tiny drawing designs on them.

"Mum! I'm going to go buy flowers for Ariana." I called out as loud as I could to make sure they had heard me before I raced down towards my car, pulling out the driveway.

Stopping by a small flower shop, I walked inside, quickly admiring the array of flowers. I spot some sunflowers, and something inside me screamed to get those for her, and so I did. I bought some sunflowers for her, and some little daisies as well, just because.

Checking my phone, I had seen it was already 10:40, and in all honesty, I could hear my heartbeat go all over the place. Driving to her apartment was not an easy task just because my mind would run off to the possibilities that could ruin the date I had planned out.

Also, I had arrived at their apartment before 11:00. I didn't want to seem to excited for the date, so I decided to stay back a bit, just waiting until I should go out to make it seem I had just arrived.

Walking inside the apartment, I had stared at the door for at least 2 minutes just to make sure I was actually at the right door. I bit on my lower lip before I lifted my shaky hand, placing three knocks on their door, and I could instantly hear the loud bark of their dog.

The door opened, and it revealed a smirking Bee.

"Hm, Horton. Finally had the guts to ask my Ariana out?" She grinned, calling Ariana and telling her I was already here. And from the corner of the room, I found Ariana wearing some baggy pants and an oversized grey sweater. Her hair was up and she had minimal make-up. And somehow, she still managed to look stunning.
