Connors pov

I gently pull out of the kiss and glance down at evan. Hes completley red faced, but he is smiling.
"Im so glad you did that. I wanted too, but I was too nervous." Evan lays his head against my chest
"One of us had too, ev." I sigh happily. I stare up at the sky, and we listen to the wind blowing through the trees. We can hear countless birds chirping, and bugs buzzing, and the sounds of us breathing harmonize perfectly to the sounds of nature.
"So, evan?" I begin.  "Are we boy friends now, or what? "
"W-well umm... I mean, if you want to be. It would be nice, i-i think. " he stutters.  I chuckle and kiss his forehead.
"It sounds amazing. I'd love to be able to say ' evan hansen is mine, so back the fuck off' to people. " I grin.
"But who would you ever have to say that to? Nobody knows I exist. " Evan sighs.
"Zoe. " I answer with a frown.  "She keeps talking about you as the awkward but cute guy in her math class. "
"Cute? " Evan asks with a blush. I try to hide my jealousy.
"Yeah. She isn't wrong. You're absolutely stunning." I reach down and intertwine our fingers, offering a small smile.
"Thank you, Connor. " Evan nuzzles against my chest. I smile and look up at the sky.

My sky

Evan's trees

Our world.

Evan slowly closes his eyes and his breathing slows. He's fallen asleep on me. I chuckle softly and hold him tightly on my lap. It isn't comfortable for me, but evan seems to like it, so I don't dare to disturb him.
We stay there for hours, just me holding my beautiful boyfriend and finding reason to stay alive. Eventually, Evan stirs and looks up at me. He smiles.
"I hope to wake up to that face every morning some day. "  Evan nuzzles into my chest.
"Goddamn... you're so cute." I sigh and pick him up to carry him back to the car. He clings to me as I walk and I laugh softly.
I gently set him in the passenger seat. And buckle him up, before walking around and getting in the drivers seat. I buckle up myself, before driving us the way we came. "You're sunburnt." I chuckle.
"Well so are you! How did you not burn to death in that hoodie?!" Evan asks.  I laugh.
"I never take it off. It's miserable, sure, but I'm used to it." I shrug.
"Than shouldn't it smell bad? "Evan asks.
"I wash it, dude. I just prefer to keep it on." I smile. "No. What really stinks is that cast of yours." I tease him.
"Well gee, Connor.  Let me just take it of and wash it then." He laughs.
"So, want to spend the night? " I ask.

"Okay." Evan smiles. "Let me call mom. It wont be a problem, will it?"

"Of course not. My parents love you." I assure him. He calls his mom and asks for permission, which she grants.
Once we get to our street, we park Heidi's car in the driveway and walk in to grab evan a change of clothes. He grabs them, hugs his mom goodbye, and we walk across the street to my house. We quietly walk in the front door and mom notices us.
"Connor?" She asks.
"Yeah mom. Oh, and evan. He's spending the night." I inform her.
"Now, connor, shouldnt we discuss... you know." She asks. "And I'd prefer it remain a family matter. No offense, evan."
"None taken. " evan sighs.
"What is there to discuss?  I'm not dead, so I don't see a problem. Wait, Actually, that is the problem. So unless you want to risk me snapping and doing something else, Evan should stay the night." I pull THAT card. A low blow, I know. But I need Evan by my Side tonight. No matter what it takes.
"...fine. carry on boys." Mom sighs.

Evan and I run upstairs to my room and I close the door. I lock it, and walk over to my dresser, digging through for my metallica t-shirt and light grey sweats. "Go on and change, ev. I won't judge. " I say as I unzip my jacket and undo my button up, tossing down the
Articles of clothing to the floor.  I pull on my t-shirt and look over at ev, he looks extremely uncomfortable.
"You can go change in the bathroom if you'd like." I offer as an alternative. He nods and unlocks the door, walking down the hall. I get into my sweats and sit on my bed. I wait for Evan to return, and after a few minutes,  he does.
He's in a light blue t-shirt and black basketball shorts.
"Damn." I smirk as I shamelessly look him up and down.
"Stop that! " evan blushes and tugs down the tail of the t-shirt, uncomfortably. I chuckle and pat beside me, gesturing for Evan to join me. He hesitantly approaches me and sits down. I wrap my arm around him and he leans into my shoulder.
"You know you're beautiful, right ev?" I ask.
"Stop it. No im not. Im just... yknow, average. Nothing about me is specail. Im average height, weight, build, and im so bland." He sighs.
"Bland? Well I dont think so. You're super nervous all the time, and its cute. And you're really friendly when you are willing to talk to someone. You're unbelievably perfect." I hug him tightly from my side with one arm.

"That's really sweet... but now I feel bad because I dont know how to put how I feel about you into words..." evan sighs.
"Well, I hope that you'd say that im an alright guy who is totally worth kissing again." I joke.
"O-oh! Definitely!  I-i uhh... mean about the kissing...part." evan stutters. "You're more than alright. You're amazing. " I smile and press my lips to his forehead.
"Want to play videogames?" I ask.
"What games do you have? " evan asks.
"Well, I have a new two-player game. It's called Apocalypse of the Damned." I offer.
"Sounds violent." Evan frowns.
"True. Never mind, lets watch a movie instead.  I'll pop some popcorn,  okay? Come downstairs and find a movie you wanna watch." I stand up, and evan gets up as well. We head downstairs and he goes to the living room to look through the movies.

Im in the kitchen, and start popping popcorn.  I get out a large, silver bowl and set it on the counter. After I get three bags popped, I pour them in the bowl and add salt. It's extra buttery popcorn, too. My favourite.  I stuff four cans of mountain dew and coke into my hoodie pockets before carrying the bowl into the living room.
"Find a movie?" I ask.
"Yeah! It's The Princess Bride." Evan grins. I chuckle and we head back up to my room. I lock the door behind us, and sit the popcorn carefully on my desk.
"Do we really need that much popcorn?"evan asks.
"We will after we smoke this." I grin and hold up a small bag of pot.
"Oh no. No no no no no!" Evan shakes his head.  "That is literally the worst possible thing we could do right now, connor!" He yelps.
"Shhh. You're being too loud. And, trust me, you'll like this stuff." I start to roll it up in a joint.
"Connor... m-my mom will kill me." Evan whimpers.
"And my mom wouldn't if she knew I was smoking with you? " I ask, raising an eyebrow.
"But connor, this is illegal!" He whisper yells.
I sigh and light the joint, taking a long drag from it, before letting out the smoke and coughing hard, as the slightly bitter smell of pot feels the room. I look up at evan and smile and hand him the joint. He's shaking as he looks from the joint, to me.
"Press it to your lips, and inhale until you think its enough. Then hold it as long as you can before you start coughing. " I instruct. He nods and hesitantly puts the joint to his lips. He closes his eyes and slowly inhales. He doesn't take near as long a drag as me, but he holds it for a good ten seconds before coughing and gagging.
"Connor, that's gross!  You do this for fun?!" He asks. I just laugh and take another hit. He eventually relaxes and we pass the joint until we are done.
(I just explained how smoking weed works I am so sorry. ) i put in the movie, and we curl up on the bed, the popcorn between us. I glance down at evan. He's silently watching tv, with glazed over, half-lidded eyes.
"Connor. Hand me that popcorn.  I just got really hungry." Evan alerts me. I chuckle and pass him the bowl and he starts munching away on popcorn.  I remember the soda in my pockets and I hand him a mountain dew.  He opens it and takes a huge gulp out of it and I laugh.

By the end of the movie, we've eaten all the popcorn, drank all the sodas, and Evan and I fall asleep.
