As I walked into school I looked around. The usual. The cheerleaders talking about the game last night, the jocks bragging about the game last night, the outcasts staying out of every ones way. But one person always sticks out, to everyone. LaMelo, LaMelo Ball. Yes the "famous" LaMelo Ball. Everyone cheers him on as he scored most of the points for the team in last nights game. I watched him as he bro hugged his friends, talking to them. I walked past them shaking head. I could feel someone's eyes on me but I didn't plan to look behind me. I went to my locker and got my books for first hour. "No wayyyy! he was totally just checking you out as you walked past him!" lacey said in her high pitched voice, as always.
"Who?" I laughed and leaned on my locker as I watched lacey, her eyes bright and her smile wide and cheesy.
"Melo! He misses youuu," she poked at my ribs and I laughed.
"Stop it! he doesn't he doesn't care about me and if he did he wouldn't of left me at the sight of "fame"" I shrugged at her and stood up straight again, "i gotta go ion wanna talk about this," I shrugged and walked away to my first class. I sat down as I thought of me and melo and what we had. I always missed what we had, I thought it was special.
*LaMelos pov*
I laughed and bro hugged my friend scott. "Yeah bro it was awesome!" I chuckled and smiles and stuff and shrugged smiling. I glanced behind me and saw her. I turned around and watched as she walked away. wow.. still as stunning as ever.. she always takes my breath away. Shelby. we dated before and everything got to my head and I ignored her. I know its terrible. I wish I wouldn't have done it. I miss her more than anything. She was my rock, no shes gone. I hate seeing her in the hallway because I know she doesn't want me back after what I did... but I cant help but keep loving her. I shook my head and laughed and shoved scotts chest playful. "dude shut up you know I aint want a girl right now I got my career to worry about," I laughed shaking my head. I got my stuff and went to my class, thinking about the girl I once had...
"Melo!!" I screamed and giggled as I ran away from him.
"baby come back!!" he laughed hard.
"no youre all wet leave me alone!!" I laughed and looked behind me as he ran after me. he just got out of the pool and I just got here. I laughed hard as he cornered me. "Stop it melo!" I laughed hard. he picked me up holding me, getting me all wet. I giggled and whined at him.
"youre so lucky that I love you!" I laughed and looked at him. he smiled sweet at me as he set me down chuckling.
"go change cutie," he smiled at me as he went back to the pool and jumped in. I giggled and watched him for a second. taking him in. everything about him was just perfect, and I love him. I walked upstairs and changed and came down giggling.
