It Was Alright

*Shelbys pov*

I met up with Melo at lunch and hugged him right away, sighing. "Whats up baby?" he hugged back.
"Laceys all mad at me and ion have any friends in my grade," I sighed, pulling away.
"You'll make friends babe," he sighed, "What happened with Lacey?"
"Shes mad cause I never texted her about anything but I figured she didn't care," I shrugged and got my tray. I got my lunch and sat with Melo at his table.
"Im sorry baby," he put his arm around me and started eating his food. I ate mine too and listened to him talk to his friends. I giggled cause he did and his laugh always make me smile.
"What you laughing at?" one of his friends laughed at me, "You don't even play basketball how you supposed to get the joke?"
"Just laughed caused Melo did," I shrugged.
"Dude leave her alone don't be an asshole," Melo stood up for me.
"What you gon fight me?" he laughed.
"Stop damn," I stood up and got my tray and walked away. I dumped my lunch out and put it up and walked out to my locker. I shook my head and sighed. Fucking hate this school. Only good thing is Melo.

I got my bags to go home and I walked to Melo locker and sighed. "Ready I wanna leave," I sighed.
"Yeah baby," he turned and pecked my lips a few times, then smiled at me. He shut his locker and took my hand. "Lets go babe," he smiled and took me outside and to his dads car. I got in the back and buckled up.
"How was your guys day?" LaVar started driving once we were in and buckled.
"good," Melo smiled at him.
"Alright," I shrugged a little bit, slumping down.
"Ahh its alright kid its just highschool," LaVar chuckled. I nodded and shrugged again. I watched out the window as we drove home.

"I have dance try outs tomorrow after school, if that's okay," I smiled at Tina as we ate our snack.
"Yeah that's fine! I hope you make the team!" she smiled at me.
"Me too I love dancing a lot," I smiled at her and nodded.
"Youll make it babe youre soo good," Melo smiled at me and nodded.
"Thanks," I giggled, putting my head on his shoulder. I ate my snacks, as did Melo.
"How did school go?" Tina smiled at us.
"Good just the usual," Melo chuckled and nodded.
"That's good, what about you Shelby?" Tina smiled at me.  I shrugged a bit and looked up at her, then back at my plate, "It was alright."
"Whys that?" she sighed a bit.
"Just the usual everyone hates me and they all know I tried to yah know and so they use it against me and the only friend I had left me so," I shrugged and stood up, "I have to go to the bathroom." I pushed my seat in and walked to the bathroom. I shut the door and sat down on the edge of the bathtub and gulped a little. I got Tinas razor out of the bathtub and pulled my sleeve up. I cant believe im gonna do this again... then i did it... i felt the blood drip down my wrist, i missed this feeling...
