One Month

*Shelbys pov*

I woke up in a room I was too familiar with. The hospital. I looked around slowly to see Steph, Tina, LaVar, and Melo. I sat up slowly and everyone stood up fast. "Oh thank god," Steph hugged me tight. I hugged back and smiled small. "You have been in a comma for a month," she sighed, letting tears fall.
"Really?" I sighed a little bit. She nodded and pulled away. Melo came over and hugged me tight too. I smiled small and hugged him tighter. "God I missed you so much," melo sighed, hugging me tighter. I closed my eyes and nodded. It didn't feel like I was asleep very long.

We got back to the group home and all the girls came and gave me a hug. "Im so glad that youre okay," Claudia smiled.
"Thank you," I smiled at her, "where uh where is Chloe?"
"She went to juevey," Steph sighed. I nodded and shrugged a little bit.
"So umm seeing its been a month what is going to happen with my adoption?" I looked over at Steph.
"I got my foster license and I talked to the social worker and he said you can come stay with me," she smiled. I smiled bigger and nodded. I hugged her tight, she hugged back. I pulled away and smiled bigger. "Go ahead and get your stuff from your room ad we will head to my house," She smiled at me. I nodded and I went upstairs, the girls following. As I packed I caught up with the girls. We talked about how everyone was doing. I made really close friends with Claudia, seeing shes my age. Once I finished, everyone left but I stopped Claudia. "Hey do you go to school?" I smiled small at her.
"Umm well I do homeschool," She sighed, "public school is a little rough for me seeing that I have no friends or anything," she sighed.
"Maybe if you come to the school im in we can be friends," I smiled at her, "I like you and I figure we are friends."
"Really?" she smiled at me.
"Yeah," I smiled back.
"Okay I can talk to Steph about it," she giggled, smiling bigger. I smiled and nodded. She walked out of the room, smiling bigger than ever. I smiled too. I got my bags and I went downstairs.

"Im ready," I smiled at her.
"Alrighty," She smiled at me, standing up. She got her stuff and yelled that she was leaving. The counselor was there when Steph isn't. I followed Steph to her car and got in. I buckled up and she drove to her house. It was pretty nice. It wasn't anything over the top it was just a modern home. She took me inside and she showed me around the house. It was beautiful inside. She had a husky and a lab dog. The husky was big but the lab was just a puppy. My room was nice and it was pretty big. I unpacked what I had and Steph told me we could get other stuff, like décor, later. 

I sent Melo a picture of the room and I checked my other messages. I had a message from a girl named Tiffany. Shes the head cheer leader. It was a video. I watched the video as I saw Melo and her making out, her shirt was off and so was his. My heart broke. I saved the video and sent it to Melo.
