*shelbys pov*

I made myself calm down as I answered my phone, "Hey baby."
"Hey babe whats up?" he was out of breath cause of practice.
"Nothing just getting my stuff together," I said as I wrapped up my wrist.
"Are you okay baby? You sound like you ben crying," he sighed.
"Yah I can tell you about it later baby when are you coming?" I sniffled, as I put away the stuff and went back up to my "room"
"Okay baby," he sighed, "ill be over soon to get you then we are coming back to my house and then going to Zo's for the night."
"Sounds good baby I gotta go," I said, as I heard my dad coming upstairs. I hung up before he could even say goodbye. I put my phone in my pocket and looked at my dad, someone else was with him. "So this is the vanity," he said, ignoring me as he walked past me. Him and the girl talked, then she gave him money and he helped them take it downstairs. I sighed a little as I sat on my bed and called my mother, knowing she was on break.
"mom?" I sighed.
"Yeah sweety?" she said, sounding really tired.
"why is dad getting rid of all my stuff? Am I really kicked out?" I teared up.
"Hes doing what?" she yawned.
"Hes sold all my stuff the only thing left is my bed, side table, and dresser. Everything else is gone mom," I let tears fall.
"I didn't know he was doing that hun im sorry, ill talk to him when im home just go to Melos okay? ill talk to you later I need to eat," she sighed.
"Okay I love you," I sighed, and she hung up saying it back. I sniffled a little and stood up, calming myself down. I got my bags as I heard Melo beep, meaning hes outside. I walked out not saying goodbye to my dad. I got in the backseat, cause melo was upfront with Gelo.
"hey baby," he smiled back at me and Gelo drove.
"Hey," I smiled weak at him. He noticed the wrap on my wrist, as he gave me a look meaning "we will talk about this later" I nodded back and pulled my sweatshirt sleeves down.

I got out of the car and followed them inside. I smiled up at Tina and followed Melo to his room. "What happened?" he looked at me stern, I knew I couldn't lie.
"Me and my father got into a fight," I shrugged and sat down. I pulled my sleeve up and took the wrap off, his face went from stern to concerned. "Shelby... that looks so bad baby we need to get you to a doctor."
"no baby! its okay," I sighed, shaking my head. I went to rewrap it but he stopped me.
"Mom!!!"  he screamed.
"Melo!" I sighed, as Tina came rushing in.
"What happened?" she sighed.
"Noth-" I starting saying, only to be cut off by Melo.
"Mom Shelby got hurt and she needs to go to a doctor, look," he showed her my wrist. She nodded and sighed.
"How did that happen?" She sighed, melo looked at me as I just put my head in melos chest.
"All she told me was her father and her got into a fight," he explained.
"Shelby," she sighed as she sat by me, "Did your dad hurt you?" she started rubbing my back. I nodded as I cuddled into melo.
"He pushed me down the basement steps after he slapped me, which hes never done before," I sniffled.
"We need to take this to the police... is your mom home?" I shook my head and sniffled.
"Shes at work till 5 then shes home for an hour then she works again till midnight," I looked over at her.
"Well shes gonna have to take off so we can talk to her about this, lets get you to the hospital and get this cleared up okay?" she stood up and helped me up and melo too.
