After you wrote the letter, you started bawling. Your breath was short and you felt like you were stabbed. I love you, Yuuri..... please, don't really forget me.

Years have gone by. 4 to be exact. You were still completely single. You've tried to go on those tinder apps or speed dating things but all you end up with is a bunch of wine bottles.
Yuuri still never left your mind. It was kind of hard in the first place. He was a famous skater, and you were a normal, average, everyday human. Yuuri's new wife was a super fit National Swimmer. The media constantly wrote about the best new hot couple, but you couldn't care less. You still loved Yuuri, even if he will never remember you.
2 weeks later the big news broke.

Your mind was filled with so many emotions. You thought about going back to Yuuri and swooping in on him, but he probably still thought you were a stalker. In the end you decided it was best not to contact him anymore.
The next day you went to the park. The park was always the best place for you to think. The cool breeze and crisp air keeps your brain flowing. You found a quiet spot under a tree and just sat there. Soon enough you fell fast asleep.
"Ma'am, are you okay?" The voice called
You woke up to someone shaking you.
"You were crying in your sleep" the voice said again
"Oh, I'm sorry for bothering you, I'm fine" you smiled looking up. When you did your heart stopped.
"Yuuri?" You asked, speechless
"Do I kno— Hey, who gave you that necklace?" Yuuri asked
You looked down. A necklace hung loosely around your neck with a little lock. In the middle was a key hole with the letters Y +(the first letter of your name)
"Oh, this is a locket a special someone gave to me" you said awkwardly
Yuuri pulled something from under his shirt collar. In his hands were a key with the letters Y + (first letter) He walked toward you and put the key in the lock and turned the key. The key clicked and the locket opened.
Inside was a picture of you two. Both of you holding up your necklaces. Yuuri's eyes widened, his mind racing.
"Y/N?" Yuuri asked
"You r-remember?" You asked. You could feel hot tears burning your eyes
"I-I think I remember. I remember everything. Especially.." he paused, pain shown on his face "the day I left you in the rain"
"Yuuri, I'm so happy you're back. I couldn't care about that day" you cried happily, embracing him tightly
"But I still hurt you. I left you. I'm so sorry" Yuuri sobbed
"It's okay. I love you" you said in a whisper, rubbing his back.
"I love you so much. I promise I'll never leave again!" He yelled
The next few months were like a dream. You two moved back together and he asked you to marry him. The media titles were all amazing
Yuuri and a new mysterious WIFE? Apparently, this was his original girlfriend before his accident. How we didn't realize, who knows? More on that tonight.
But the best thing of all, you got the love of your life back
