(The twins above enjoy!) Cassidy's POV
We walked to a neighborhood. I want paying attention in how far away t was from my old house. All I could think about was my mom.
We got to their house and walked in. It was a nice house.
Two little girls came running down the steps giggling. "Hi I'm Kennedy and this is Kenneth we're twins" she continued giggling as they ran around the house.
"Well nice to meet you" I said quietly.
I nudged Haven and pointed my head towards the twins.
"Go" I told her.
She nodded her head back and began to play with them. They looked a few years apart in age from Haven. Younger of course but Haven liked playing with the younger kids. Less drama.
I knew the boy.. Ashton was his name. I knew he was my age too but I wasn't interested. Yes he is "cute" I would say. But I doubt he thought the same about me. I mean when we were walking he said "she is" he could've been talking to me but I don't know.
I looked at my dad,
"What did he mean by she is." I said
"When we were walking" I added.
"When I met him and told them about you he asked if you were hot, I told him that he would be the judge of that." He said as he giggles to himself. I looked over as he was in the room when my dad said that. He kinda smiled to himself as he looked me up and down.
"Well thank you." I said back as I walked into there kitchen. I looked back only once on my journey to their kitchen. When I looked Ashton was following me.
When I got to the kitchen Ashton stopped in the doorway.
"Oh I see you" he giggled
"I give you a compliment and you don't give me one back" he smiled.
"Oh okay. Well your not so bad yourself" I said as I opened the fridge.
"Well thank you" he said nodding his head.
I grabbed a jello from the fridge and I looked for the right drawer and when I found it I grabbed a spoon.
As I walked past him I looked back he was starring. I turned completely around, facing him.
"Yeah you don't look so bad but you really need to work on that flirt game of yours." I winked and then smirked, turning back around and walking back into the living room.
"Well haven't you made yourself at home." A man with a black eye said. The same man I had punched.
"Oh dad, ah you see I thought he was a snake I'm so sorry dude, I really didn't mean to-" I was cut off bye his voice.
"No don't be, my name is Carl and you're Cassidy I presume, well aren't you a fighter!" He said as he held his hand out for me too shake.
"No thanks" I said as I pushed his hand down.
My dad told me too have a seat in the living room. I sat down.
"We need to talk, I'm gonna tell you now what I heard those snakes said" my dad said as he nodded his head at me.
"Okay" I said in reassurance.
He then told me what happened
Those snakes I can't believe they lied to do testing. But for what? Is there something special about all of us? Is there something they want? I used to think they wanted the land but its not the land it's the people living here,
I thought about it all that night. All of it the lies. And where were they putting people.
We're they hiding people somewhere. Maybe I'm the hills. The people might be hidden beyond the hills.
