Chapter 14

Dads POV
I had stayed up almost all night thinking about my wife. I was scared that my angels would figure out I killed her. I mean if they find her body they'll see the bash in her head, which I told them the snake bashed her. They couldn't know it was me.
When morning came I was asleep. I slept until 11, pretty late for my usual 6 o'clock in the morning.
I walked downstairs and saw Cassidy sitting on the couch.
"Hey sweetie where is everyone." I said as I sat next to her.
"I didn't know I went to the kitchen for 2 seconds around 7 and when I came out they were gone. I'm guessing they went back to bed." She said after shrugging her shoulders.
I got up and walked up stairs. There was only two rooms up the steps the one to the left was the one Cassidy Haven and I were sleeping Haven was still asleep up there when I had left. The room to the right was the other three kids room. I heard talking and I walked in the other three kids room there they were. The whole family. Carl, Janice the twins and the boy sitting. They all looked up. Each one of them looked like a deer caught in head lights. They were having a meeting.
"Oh I see," I said as I slammed the door.
"Dad?!" Cassidy yelled after I made the loud slamming noise with the door.
"Dad?!" Now she was at the bottom of the steps.
"What the hell?!" She yelled at me.
"You watch your mouth, I'm upset they're having a meeting! Without us!" He screamed.
"Dad, almost 18! I'm gonna say what the hell if I want! And so what... they're a family they're talking! Maybe about what to do with your ignorant ass." Ashton walked out of the room , followed by his family now.
"Dad! You're not listening to me are you! Every time we get happy you blow a fuse in happy here I'm falling for this kid dad! I'm falling for him! And now they exclude you in something that isn't your business anyways and you get mad!" She screamed.
"Just go to your bed and go the hell back to bed!" She yelled as she pointed to the door where I slept.
So I turned around and left. When I opened the door Haven was standing right there.
"Out" I ordered her. She walked out and I went in shutting the door behind me. Sitting on the bed, putting my head into my hands.
