Cassidy's POV
That brings me to now.
I'm sitting on the couch waiting for Ashton to get back from his search for food. I hear footsteps coming down the steps I looked over only too see Janice
"Hi Janice." I said as I jumped off the couch.
"Hi" she smiled.
"Are you okay Janice? Wait forget I said that. I'm sorry Janice it's just-" I was cut off by Janice
"No it's fine really I finished the map and I'm getting over it. I'm learning too" she said as she pulled me into a hug.
"I wanna leave the house" she pulled me out of the hug,
"There's to many memories here." She said, nodding her head.
"Okay, we'll find out where to go and we'll go." I said, nodding my head back at her.
She let go of my shoulders and walked into the kitchen. I heard the door open. I turned around.
"Ash!" I yelled as I jumped into his arms. He gave me a giant hug.
"Your mom is in the kitchen." I whispered while my head was was lying on his shoulder. He pulled me out of the hug and gave me a kiss,
"Really?" He asked
My eyes got wide,
is the first time he has kissed me since the day his dad passed,
"What." I said shaking my head.
"Is she really in the kitchen?" He whispered. I nodded my head and he made his way too the kitchen.
"Hey mom, how are you?" He said scrunching his eyebrows in a worried may.
"I'm good" she said as she went to give him a hug. She hugged him and then tried to make her way back upstairs with the yogurt she had grabbed.
"Mom, you can't go up there again, I need you. The twins just lost there dad. They can't loose there mom. Not now at least." He said to her. She turned around and had a confused look on her face.
"I need time Ashton, you of all people should-" Ashton cut her off, this time he was mad.
"I know I gave you time. You can't just ignore us because we remind you of him! Think of the good times you had with him, not the ones you could've had! Mom, we need you we lost dad. We all did. I'm only 18 and I'm trying with everything. Last night Kenneth came crying to me. TO ME! Mom she came to me because she doesn't think of you as a mom this passed week. You need to be there for us and we'll be there for you!" He said as his face turned read.
"I know, I know. I just need to leave this house!" She said
" I keep thinking of how our lives could've been here I can't help it ash! I finished the map. I just need to find another place to stay and then I'll be the mom you want. I promise." She said as she continued walking up the stairs.
"Okay, just give me the map and Cassidy and I will find a place. But you have to keep up your end of the deal." He called after her.
"Okay you come get the map." She said as she shut the door behind her.
I ran up and grabbed the map.
Ashton and I stayed up nearly all night until we found a place. It was a 30 minute walk to this place. All I could think about after we found it is that we were walking across town,
