Dinner went great last night with my family. Right now, I'm listening to one of my favorite bands, Artic Monkeys. I'm in Kaiden's room with him, while he lays down on his bed, on his phone, and I'm sitting on the floor doing homework on the computer.
"Maybe I should take you out someday," Kaiden says.
"Me?" I ask.
"Yeah."
"Why me?"
"Because you're my sister and I want to treat you to something nice," Kaiden says.
I don't respond but just keep typing on the computer. I'm putting together this essay for English about natural causes of love and how it can one be affected by it. This essay isn't really coming along great, since I know exactly nothing about love. I'm not sure if the topic is pertaining to family love or relationship love. I've only felt one and you can probably guess that one.
I save my essay in a Microsoft word document and close the laptop. But like I said; Here I am, home once again, but this time not alone. I don't really have any friends, because I'm not really that social with people. I only focus on my priorities which are school and family.
I stand up from the floor and adjust my shirt. I pick my phone up from the floor and go on twitter. I have at least fifty-six point seven thousand followers on here and I tweet mostly every now and then, just out of boredom and for fun.
"Shit!" Kaiden says as he springs up from the bed and puts on his shoes.
"What?" I ask.
"I was suppose to go to Selena's house for lunch like a few minutes ago."
"Selena? Selena Gomez?" I excitedly ask with emotion into the question.
"Yeah," Kaiden says while lacing up his shoe.
"You're so lucky!"
Kaiden pauses after tying his shoe; he slowly looks up at me.
"I know I told you I was going to take you out one day; Want to join?" he asks.
"Yes!" I scream nearly jumping.
Kaiden begins to laugh and we exit the room. Dad Harry and Dad Louis are in the living room watching TV with Jamie at their side. Kaiden announces our plans to them as we're leaving out the door, while grabbing his keys to the car.
Dad Louis shouts at us to have fun as we walk out the door and we get into the car. As we drive out of the driveway and onto the freeway to go to Selena's house, Kaiden keeps the windows down and the wind intrudes the car, blowing through my hair. I stare out the window and watch as we pass multiple skyscraper like buildings and thousands of cars and restaurants.
We soon arrive to this extravagant home that's surrounded in steel iron gates. We approach a small box that's leveled to the window of the drivers side. Kaiden punches a key code into the small silver box and we're granted access as the gates open; Kaiden looks at me.
"She gave me the code," he says as we pull into the driveway halfway and stop. We get out and walk up the stoned stairway up to the front door. Kaiden knocks as I stand behind him and I look back behind me to hear the sound of a small waterfall going.
The door is opened and the gorgeous pop star slash actress stands in front of us. I literally cannot believe me freakin' eyes right now. I'm here, at Selena Marie Gomez's house! How many people do you know get the chance to do that?! Selena greets Kaiden with a hug and she sees me.
"I hope you don't mind that I brought my sister, Alyson, with me," he tells her.
She smiles. "Of course it's okay!" she directs me to come inside as she gives me as hug.
