--- Authors Note: Hey! So it may be difficult to read and not knowing how to imagine Alyson, but you can with Brad, so for that matter, I imagine Alyson as Camila Cabello, so just a little thought! ---
"He may have memory loss," the doctor tells me.
The three words. The three words Brad said to me shook me to my core. He doesn't know me. He doesn't know who I am, he doesn't know he's in love with me, he doesn't know how good he made me feel the other night. The sun has risen at an unwelcome surprise and I am in no mood or condition to sleep right now.
The shattered feeling of Brad not knowing who I am makes a huge impact on me. If this is permanent, I have to help him regain full memory back. I don't know how I'll do it, but I will.
"I may not be a bad memory loss to where he does not know anything but his own name, he may know other things, but his memory isn't fully there yet since the accident," the doctor informs me.
Kaiden walks to my side and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"I'll help you every step of the way," he says.
"Thanks," I tell him.
The doctor leaves the room and I approach Brad who is wide awake.
"Brad..." I call.
"Yeah?" he replies.
"I'm Alyson, Alyson Porter, I'm your girlfriend."
Brad looks at me with a funny look.
"Wait...aren't you that girl that I met at the party?" he asks.
"Yes," I confirm.
I turn to Kaiden to introduce Brad to him.
"This is my brother, Kaiden," I tell him.
"I think I remember you?" Brad tells him.
More tears fill my eyes and I turn away to wipe them. This is going to be a struggle, but I'll have to get through it. Everything seems to be flashing through my mind in helping him with everything.
"Brad...do...you...do you know The Vamps?" I ask hesitantly.
"The Vamps?" he reiterates.
"No, what's that?" he asks.
He doesn't know his own band.
"Should I know them or it?" he asks.
I hold back a tear. "That's the name of the band you're in," I inform him.
"Oh..." is all he says.
I hold his hand.
"You have a memory loss from the accident you were in, that's the reason why you're in here. I'm going to help you remember everything and help you get back to normal," I promise.
I lean down and kiss him. The kiss doesn't seem like the usual ones. It seemed less energetic. Less passionate and loving. I just hope that Brad will be able to return to his normal function. I sit down in the same chair I sat in while holding Brad's hand.
...
"There, that's how you do it," I tell Brad.
He was sent home from the hospital about a week ago, and now I'm trying to help him regain memory. I'm helping him learn how to ride a penny board, and so far it's going great. Brad holds onto my arms as I walk and he slides on the board. We only practiced this a few times and he pretty much knows how to ride it. He's a fast learner, and if so, then this should be easy.
