Felicity's POV
"Great work today, ladies! Looking forward to seeing you next week!" Miss Carrie exclaimed at the end of our dance practice.
I quickly left the room and went into the bathroom to change. Today was Caleb's birthday, and I did not want to walk into his party wearing my sweaty dance clothes.
I slipped my swim suit on under my clothes and went to wash my hands when Liv walked in.
"Hey. Are you going to Caleb's party?" She asked.
I nodded. "Yes, that's actually why I'm in a hurry."
Liv nodded back. "Me too. I guess I'll see you there."
"Okay. Bye." I said with a smile and wave before running outside.
I spotted Dad's car and I quickly got in.
"You seem to be in quite the rush today." Dad laughed as he pulled out of the parking lot.
"Well, I don't want to be late." I replied as I texted Caleb that I was on the way.
"We're not going to be late, okay?" Dad said. "Your teacher let you out a few minutes early, and there's barely any traffic right now."
"Okay. That's good." I replied.
About twenty minutes later we arrived at the LeBlanc house. I waved goodbye to Dad after getting out of the car and I ran up to the front door.
I knocked a couple times before Annie swung the door open.
"Hey Felicity!" Annie grinned as we hugged.
"Hello Annie!" I greeted back as I walked in.
"You can put the bag on the table." Annie pointed to a table in the kitchen and then pointed to the gift bag I had for Caleb in my hand.
"Thank you." I walked over and placed the bag down. "Where's Caleb and Hayley and everyone else?"
"They're outside getting ready to swim. I was just about to change into my swim suit when you came." Annie replied. "You can head out back if you want."
"Thanks." I said again before going into the backyard.
Their three adorable dogs attacked me when I made it onto the grass. I laughed and picked up GG because she was the smallest and ran over to the dock.
"Hey, Felicity! You made it!" Caleb exclaimed when he saw me. He was on the edge of the dock, but he began to make his way over.
"Yep, here I am. Happy birthday!" I smiled, placing GG down on the ground.
"Thanks!" He replied as we hugged.
"You're old enough to get a permit now, right?" I asked.
Caleb laughed and nodded. "Yep. I can drive you anywhere."
"Well alright then." I laughed.
"So we were just about to go swim. Want to join?" He asked.
I nodded. "Okay."
I walked back over towards the door to the kitchen to put my clothes there, since I had a swim suit on underneath. Then I sprinted towards the dock again.
"Hey, I'd like to introduce you to my friends," Caleb began once I had walked over.
"Cool." I smiled as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. He used the other one to point to his friends as he said their names.
