Chapter 8. The Commercial

Felicity's POV

Tomorrow was our last day in LA, which made me a little sad, although I was kind of missing home.

We've been to Disneyland these past three days and today we were just going to walk around a little. I also heard we were probably going to film a commercial; well, the LeBlancs, not me.

I was the first to wake up, so I quietly crawled out of bed, hoping not to disturb anyone. I grabbed some clothes from my suitcase and went into the bathroom to shower.

When I came out of the bathroom, the LeBlanc girls were now awake and at the table.

"Good morning, Felicity." Ms. Katie greeted as I sat next to Hayley.

"Good morning Ms. Katie. What's for breakfast today?" I asked.

"We've got some pancakes and toast." Ms. Katie replied as she handed me a plate.

"Thank you." I smiled before eating my food.

"Is Felicity going to be in the commercial with us?" Hayley asked when we were on our way to the studio. The LeBlancs were filming a back to school commercial that would sit next month on television.

"I don't think so. But if she wants to, I could ask." Ms. Katie replied before she looked over at me.

"That's alright, Ms. Katie. I wouldn't want to trouble you."

"It wouldn't be an issue." Mr. Billy added.

Once we got to the studio, Ms. Katie and Mr. Billy asked the director if I could join in. Then they came back over grinning.

"They said you could be in it if you wanted to!" Ms. Katie exclaimed.

"Really? Are you sure–?"

"Felly, please?" Caleb asked as he grabbed my hand.

I hesitated. "Okay, I'd love to!"

The LeBlancs cheered as the director came over. He handed me a script, and I flipped through it to see what we were doing. I only had a couple lines, but I was grateful for them.

"Okay, let's do a run through of the first scene," the director began as we all got into our places.

The first scene of the commercial was us walking into a red room with paper in our hands, which was supposed to be a school supply list. Then we were all supposed to look down at the list and say what we needed. In the script it said that Caleb would be looking over my shoulder as I read aloud the list.

"Everyone ready?" The director asked as we nodded in our places. "And, action!"

A few hours later, we were filming the last couple of scenes for the commercial before we could go back to the hotel.

The last scene was all of us throwing confetti and various pieces of school supplies in the air that was going to be in slow motion in the commercial; this is going to look so cool!

"This is our last scene, let's get it perfect!" The director yelled out. "Action!"

We cheered and threw confetti, pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, and pieces of colored paper in the air with grins on our faces.

"And...cut! That was great!" The director gave us a thumbs up. "That's a wrap!"

"Yay!!" Hayley exclaimed as we all laughed.

"That was so cool! I can't wait to see how it turns out!" I said to Caleb as we walked off the set.

"Me too!" Caleb said back as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"Who wants to go to In-N-Out Burger for dinner?" Mr. Billy asked as we all raised our hands.

"I've never had In-N-Out Burger before." I said to Caleb as we made our way down the street.

"It's so good, trust me." Caleb said with a wink as me walked inside.

After we order, we sat down at the table and I took a bite out of my burger.

"So, what do you think?" Caleb asked as he started recording me on his phone.

My eyes widened as I nodded. "This is so good!" I said with my mouth full as Caleb laughed.

"That's going on both my Instagram and Snapchat story." He said with a wink.

I playfully slapped his shoulder. "Oh my god no!"

"Too late, I've already got one hundred views on Snapchat." Caleb laughed.

"Oh!" I buried my face in my hands as Caleb laughed. Then I laughed along with him before continuing to eat my dinner.

"I can't believe tomorrow is our last day." Annie frowned.

"Me either. I've had so much fun!" I said.

"Me too." Caleb and Hayley replied in unison.

"What are we doing tomorrow anyway?" Caleb asked his parents.

"Probably just doing a little shopping and swimming, then we get on a plane around dinner tomorrow." Ms. Katie explained.

"That sounds good to me." I said with a smile.

A/N: well this was boring AF but 🤷‍♀️ makes up for my absence (?).

Hey you guysssss what's up in your lives? Mine has been mostly band (I have band this week too :/) and worrying about school that starts in 6 days nOOO.

I'm gonna be a freshman and I'm scared as heck and yeah oops. I get my schedule Friday although it's been leaked like 2 times now so I technically already know it. 😂 but we get to meet our teachers and join clubs and whatnot.

Anyway I can't be ranting here, I have to get ready for band since my dad is coming in 20 minutes to get me aND IM NOT READY.
