Caleb's POV
On Monday morning, I woke up and quickly got myself ready before running next door and knocking on Felicity's hotel room door.
A couple moments later, Mom opened the door. "Hey, Caleb, come in."
"Heyo girls!" I screamed as I ran in.
"Hi Caleb." Annie and Hayley greeted in unison at the table.
I looked around the room before asking, "Where's Felicity?"
"She's in the shower, but she should be out in a couple minutes." Hayley explained.
"Did you and your dad eat yet? We were thinking of going somewhere to eat this morning before we take Felicity to her surprise." Mom said with a wink.
"No we haven't, Dad was still getting ready when I left and wanted to ask you about breakfast plans." I replied.
"Alright. Well I'll go ask him about it, I'll be right back." Mom left the room and closed the door behind her.
I chatted with my sisters for a few minutes before Felicity came out of the bathroom with a towel on her head and wrapped around her hair. I let out a small laugh, which got her attention.
"Oh, hi Caleb," she said, quickly taking the towel off her head as her face went red. "I didn't expect you over so soon."
"Well, surprise!" I exclaimed.
"Where's your mum?" She asked once she noticed Mom was gone.
"She and my dad are discussing breakfast plans." I explained.
"Oh, okay." Felicity replied.
"We're back!" Mom announced a couple minutes later as she walked in with Dad.
"We're gonna go to iHop this morning before we take Felicity to her surprise." Dad explained.
"A surprise? For me?" She asked.
We all nodded as I said, "Yeah! We have to do something fun today, since all we did yesterday was go on a plane and to a sushi place."
"Oh! Thank you!" Felicity said with a smile.
"Is everyone ready to go?" Mom asked.
"Yes!" Annie, Hayley, Felicity, and I said in unison.
"Perfect! Then let's go!" Mom opened the door and let us all out before we got in our rental car Dad had gotten yesterday.
We got in the car and Annie did some vlogging before we finally reached iHop.
When we walked in, they were surprisingly not very busy and took us to a table right away, although it was very loud and there were many conversations. When we got to the table, I sat in between Hayley and Felicity while Annie sat in between Mom and Dad.
While we were looking through the menu, I noticed Felicity seemed a little antsy and nervous. Her eyes kept wandering and she was shaking her leg under the table.
"Would you like me to order for you, Felly?" I asked her as she was trying to keep her eyes on the menu.
"No, it's fine, I can do it." She replied, still looking antsy.
"Hey," I reached for her hand. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
She nodded. "I'm fine, Caleb, really."
"Are you sure—"
"I said I'm fine!" She said a little louder, catching my parents' attention.
"Sorry." Felicity muttered before they went back to ordering. "And, Caleb? I would appreciate if you ordered for me, I don't really feel like talking right now."
