When Ethan pulls back, I let out a whine in protest, earning a laugh from him. I open my eyes only to find his blue ones already focused on me. He offers me a small smile, before holding out his hand. I take it and as he stands, he pulls me along with him.
"More surprises?" I ask him, my fingers lacing through his, as we swing our arms, walking in sync.
"I can't make you fall in love with me solely based on my good looks and kissing." Ethan counters, winking in my direction. I roll my eyes and don't bother to correct him, because while he was gorgeous and a good kisser, I wasn't planning on losing.
We walk for another 10 minutes, before we stop at the park. I tilt my head in confusion, but Ethan doesn't give me any time to ask any questions, because he's already dragging me along. Now I'm curious.
Ethan stops me near the lake, but I can't make out anything, because of the dark. He places one of his hands over my eyes and rests the other on the small of my back, before leading me forward. "Keep your eyes closed, okay?" Ethan whispers hoarsely in my ear and I nod in response, feeling the loss of contact when his hand slips off. I hear some shuffling around and I'm tempted to open my eyes, but my impatience doesn't last long, because I feel Ethan holding my hand.
"Open."
I open my eyes to see a large blanket spread out, an electric lamp lit in the center along with a few candles, as well as pillows surrounding it and two boxes of pizza. I turn around, with a large grin on my lips, to face Ethan. He's biting down on his lip, but smiles nonetheless and I can't help but wrap my arms around his neck, pulling him down for a kiss.
"Do you like it?" He mumbles against my lips as I peck his multiple times. I nod excessively, watching him as he chuckles and extends his arm for me to go sit.
"Chef Ethan has graciously ordered two large cheese pizzas for the young lady." Ethan says in a mock Italian accent and I find myself laughing, as I get comfortable on the blanket.
"You really wanna win don't you?" I tease, flipping open the box and taking out a slice. Ethan doesn't give an answer, instead shrugging as he takes his own slice. I take a bite of the cheesy delicacy and flutter my eyes shut, as I moan through my mouth full.
"Do you have to moan every time you eat something good?" Ethan questions, eyebrows raised. I smile at him mischievously, leaning forward.
"Why? Does it turn you on?"
"Fuck off, Sawyer." He mutters, a slight shade of pink spreading across his cheek bones. I smirk in victory, before turning my attention back to my pizza.
"Wait, why did we have dessert first?" I glance down at the box of strawberries and cupcakes, wondering why he had given me one when he planned this."Oh, I just wanted to kiss you." He shrugs as if it's no big deal, gaze trained on the lake and I allow myself to smile at his confession.
"What's your favorite food?" I ask suddenly, watching as Ethan turns to face me, giving me a weird look. I hold my hands up innocently and he lets out a chuckle.
"Mashed potatoes and lasagna." He states, leg knocking against mine, as he shifts closer.
"I loooovveee mashed potatoes. For me it's tied with basically anything potatoes and rice." I nod, finishing off my first slice of pizza. I go to take another, not bothering to wait for him, because I was starving.
"Yeah? Do you make it for yourself or does your mom?"
"I can cook a little, but nothing like my mom. She's taught me the basics, like different kinds of eggs, French toast, fried rice, baked salmon." I explain, head turning to face him. He's sat comfortably with his elbows holding him up and eyes focused on the lake in front of us.
"So you wanna make out?" I grin teasingly, moving my eyebrows up and down suggestively. Ethan starts laughing, cheeks turning red and I can't help but feel happy that I'm here with him. I don't think I'd have it any other way.
"Sawyer, you are going to be a handful." Ethan shakes his head, a large smile spread across his face, as he continues eating.
We spend the rest of the night talking, laughing, and eating and it's weird to think that we may actually become close. All games aside, his company isn't so bad. He isn't bad.
"I had a really good time. Thank you." I tell him gratefully, as he leans against my door frame. He takes my hand, pulling me towards him and pressing me against the door frame. His hand reaches out to pull the front door in slightly, just in case my mom gets up.
"I'm glad." Ethan says softly, arm raising to rest above my head. Smiling, my fingers fist his collar, pulling him down into a passionate kiss. As soon as his lips touch mine, his fingers grip the material of my jeans, pressing himself against me. I feel him press his tongue at the seam of my lips, begging for entrance and I oblige, allowing him to slip his tongue in. The kiss was sloppy and desperate, but it didn't stop my hand gripping the bottom of his shirt. He opens his mouth further and I lean into him, taking control. After another minute or so, Ethan removes his lips from mine and instead trails kisses along my jawline down to my neck.
A soft moan escapes my lips and it's becoming harder to not rip off his shirt right then and there. He sucks lightly on my skin, nipping every so often, fingers digging into my jeans. I let him play around for a moment longer until he pulls back, a satisfied smirk playing on his mouth. "Oh my god, Ethan. You didn't." I hiss, pulling my phone out and looking in the reflection only to see a adequately sized purple bruise.
"Night, Sawyer." Ethan leans forward, pecking my lips once more, before trotting down the steps of my house and leaving.
"Night, Ethan." I whisper under my breath, fingers moving up to touch the hickey on my neck. Sighing, I slip inside and shut the door quietly, before locking it.
