Slight sexy time up-ahead. I wouldn't say rated r but just beware.

My back hits the door of the motel room hard and I let out a loud groan, arching my head back as Ethan feverishly kisses along my jawline. This is not what I expected when I tried to rile him up. Sure, the sexual tension in the car for the remaining few hours could be cut with a knife, but did I expect Ethan to pounce on me directly after getting our room and parting from our friends? No way.

"Stop thinking so much, Sawyer." Ethan mumbled, against my mouth, fingers fumbling with the key to open the door. I smirk, trailing one hand down and undoing his belt buckle earning a slight thrust of his hips against me. He smiles down at me through his long lashes, before leaning over me to quickly open the door, pushing it open and lifting me up by my legs to bring me inside.

"The bags, Ethan." I protest with a squeal, as his fingers dig into my thighs with desire. Ethan gently drops me down on the bed and proceeds to pull his shirt over his head, revealing his athletic build and heaving chest. He kicks the door shut, before crawling in between my legs and stopping directly above me, muscular arms on either side of my head.

"Do you really think you'll be needing clothes for tonight?" Ethan smirks, tilting his head tauntingly as I shift underneath him. I shake my head timidly to which his smirk grows wider.

"It's settled then. No clothes." He drawls out sexily, pulling me up by my waist and helping me to remove my shirt. His fingers slide slowly down my stomach, before he buries them in the front of my sweatpants and I'm left arching my head back at his touch with breath sounds escaping my lips.

"Tell me, Sawyer. How many times do you think I could teach you something tonight?" Ethan's breath tickles my neck and I'm left speechless by the question, because there's definitely an underlying meaning. I lean away from his sucking on my neck and he looks at my expectantly with a raised eyebrow. I move my head closer to his, lips so close, with one move I could close the gap between us.

"Two."

"Double that and you just might be right." I laugh softly at his determination and plant my lips on his, as he pulls me closer, fingers threading in my hair.

This was gonna be a long night.

I wake up with the scent of Ethan tickling my nose and the feel of my him next to me. I try to ignore the swell in my chest at the memory of what happened last night but I fail to do so along with hiding the smile on my lips.

"No one's that happy in the morning." I glance up at Ethan, who's already awake and looking down at me with a teasing expression. I lightly hit him on the chest and sit up on my elbow.

"I am when I'm with you."

"You're such a sap." He laughs, pressing a kiss to my forehead, before sliding out of bed and bending over to pull on his briefs. I tilt my head, enjoying the view, but it's short lived as Ethan catches me in the act.

"Do you wanna take a bath with me?" He asks, a light blush spreading across his cheek bones as his gaze focuses on me. I can't help but smile and nod my head, before wrapping the sheet around myself to get out of bed.

Ring. Ring.

Ethan grabs his phone off the nightstand with furrowed eyebrows, before glancing at me with an apologetic look. I cut him off before he can say anything.

"Why don't I get it ready and you can join me after?" I smile reassuringly and he nods, cheekily slapping my behind as I walk past him to the bathroom. I hear him answer his phone and as bad as it is, I'm tempted to listen.

Biting my lip, I shake my head and carefully push in the door, leaving a crack open in case of anything.

"Rachel, I can't talk about this right now. I told you to just go and see if it's true." Ethan mutters in a hushed tone and I'm left frozen by the door, one hand resting loosely on the knob. I swallow hard and back away slowly, turning around to face the bath. Maybe she needed help with something and Ethan's kind of the only friend she has, so it's understandable.

No matter what excuses I came up with, I couldn't ignore the nagging feeling in my stomach that told me that there was something more there. Nice one, Maya. Sleeping with the guy before talking things out. Smart.

"Hey, is it not working?" I jump slightly at the sound of Ethan's voice behind me and I have to compose myself before turning to face him.

"Yeah, I was just in a daze. Sorry." I flash him a tight lipped smile and he nods slowly as if trying to figure out if I'm telling him the truth. He starts to open his mouth to say something but I don't think I could deal with the answer if I told him the truth, so instead I drop my sheet and watch as his lips part, with no words coming out.

"Jesus, Sawyer. Gotta warn a guy before you just get naked." Ethan teases lightly, moving towards me and snaking his arms around my bare body. I let out a giggle and pull him down into a soft kiss, relishing in how good it feels to be this intimate with him again.

It's not enough to soothe my doubts, but it's enough for now.

Am I back? I don't know. This is kind of a filler chapter I guess. I know how I want to end the story but not exactly how I'm going to get there. I have something in mind but you guys won't like it because it means postponing their happy ending for a little bit. All I ask is that you trust me😂 hope you enjoyed💓💓
