Maya's outfit this chapter ^.^

"So what'd you get Ethan?" It was the fifth time I've been asked that and it's starting to worry me. Raising my eyebrows, I fold my arms across my chest and watch Ryder in suspicion. Despite now being part of the 'group', I had yet to get to know the male members. I was still skeptical of Derek because of his situation with Eva and Jess, but Ryder was simply a quiet, somewhat broody guy that I wasn't able to converse with until now.
"Okay, okay, you got me. Ethan's been telling everyone to ask you." Ryder holds his hands up surrender, with a crooked grin and I let out a laugh at how easily he gave in to my withering stare.
"You guys can't seem to grasp the concept of surprise. I mean, how do you even know I got Ethan? That's right, because Riley rigged it." I nod my head as I make my point, before tipping back the glass of eggnog. Although Mia made it, it wasn't too strong.
"She enjoys meddling." He shrugs, lanky body leaning against the wall beside me. I wonder if there was any meddling done for Mia and him? Before I can ask him about Mia, Ethan strides over, a red Santa hat hanging loosely on his head and a red button up hugging his torso underneath his leather jacket. I, on the other hand, had pulled on a loose plaid dress topped off with my own leather jacket and a half up, half down hair style. I wanted to save my festive outfits for the actual holiday and Ethan definitely didn't seem to mind as his eyes trail down my outfit.
"Hi," a genuine smile is splashed across his lips and I find myself grinning from ear to ear back at him. Ryder coughs into his fist awkwardly before pointing a slender finger into a random direction,
"I'm gonna go, because I really don't wanna third wheel you lovesick fools." As Ryder walks away, I feel myself turning red at the revelation he made.
"So how are you? Have you heard from your dad?" The question catches me by surprise, but Ethan's displaying a casual demeanor. I bite my bottom lip and shrug, not entirely sure if he had even tried to contact me. I told my mom to tell him I needed space if he called, but I hadn't heard anything back.
"I don't know. I don't think he's called or anything, but I'm hoping things change before Christmas at least. It's supposed to be a time of family, so.." I shrug again and Ethan's eyebrows furrow in concern. He reaches out, hand finding its place on my hip and pulls me into him. He nuzzles his face into my hair and I can feel my body heat up from the feeling of his breath on my skin and thumb rubbing circles against my dress. I wrap my arms around his neck and he pulls back momentarily, gaze flitting up and down my face, before he leans in. Ethan's lips are slightly chapped from the cold weather, but they still feel so good against mine.
As he leans into me more, my back ends up pressed against the wall and his hands are moving down to grip the bare skin of my thigh. A loud echo of groans comes from behind Ethan and I pull away, laughing. Mia rolls her eyes and points her finger to her tongue that's stuck out dramatically, while the others awkwardly avoid looking at us.
