A Jerza Story

Chapter 1: The Task

Everyone was chatting happily. They all had a smile on their faces.

Suddenly the door slammed open and a beautiful lady with unusual red hair shouted

"I'M BACK!"

Everyone went silent and froze as if a fearsome person had appeared.

"Where is Natsu?! "She asked with a deadly look in her eyes.

"My my you're full of energy as usual Erza. He's in his office." Replied a kind voice.

"Thanks Mira."

Then without a moment's delay Erza stomped her way to his office.

She found him sitting at his table working on the computer.

"NATSU!!!" She screamed which made him jump right out of his chair.

"U SENT ME ON A JOB WHICH WAS ALREADY TAKEN BY GREY'S COMPANY!!!"

Natsu took a moment to grip the situation then turned furious and screamed.
"OH THAT GUY!! "

Then realizing who was standing before him. He changed his tone and tried not to look her in the eye.
"Sorry Erza. I didn't know."

At this she gave him a look as if she was going to kill him which made him sweat at the spot.

"N-now now c-calm down. I h-have a better job for u."

"And how do i know that Grey hasn't taken this one too?!"

"Well the thing is this isn't that type of job. Remember how we decided to have a contest in order to choose a winner of the best company award?"

"Yeah"

Natsu's tone became serious,
"Well this is it. There is going to be an agent from each company who will act undercover as a student at Gatchu University."

"Hmm. "

"The university has been targeted by terrorists because it won the World's best educational center award,
Grey will also send a student undercover and so I find only you capable of doing this."

Erza gave him a deadly look

"This is an order!" Said Natsu standing his ground.

"Don't order me around! "And she punched him on the nose which left a bruise.

"I'm s-sorry" He apologized immediately holding a hand to his bleeding nose and went to wash his face.

While he was gone Lucy arrived with some tea.

"Oh Erza! You're already back!" She said with excitement.

"Yeah. How are you Lucy? "

Lucy was the most trusted assistant in the company who worked as Natsu's helper.

"I'm good. So Natsu told you about the job huh?"

"Yeah and no way in hell am i doing this."

"But Erza you know this is the greatest battle of our company! "

Erza sighed,
"Yeah."

"I really want you to go because there is no one else who can pull this off better than you. And to be honest I'm worried about my friend Levy."

Erza was still determined not to do it.

"Come on Erza she is my childhood friend and she studies there. She might die." Said Lucy as tears trickled down her eyes.

"Fine I'll take the job."

Lucy's face filled with joy.
"Thank you Erza."

They both smiled at each other.
