Erza looked at the sight in front of her. She was amazed to see Jellal who was beaten up fighting Kyouka well.
He was like a split personality. She saw a phone in front of her ring.
It was Ultear so it must've been Jellal's phone. She picked it up.
"Hey where are you? Did you find Erza?"
"This is her."
"Oh. where's Jellal?"
"He's fighting."
"Wait what?!" Exclaimed Ultear.
"I think you heard me. I can't seem to get up."
"Erza did Jellal crack his knuckles and say 'you're gonna wish you were never born'?!"
"That's exactly what he did. Why?"
"Uh-Oh. Listen Erza you need to stop him or he will go berserk!"
"What do you mean?"
"Jellal has split personality when he feels the need to protect something. He himself isn't aware."
Right then Erza rememebered the boy who named her 'Scarlet'. He was Jellal!
"Erza!"
"Yeah?"
"When he was young he met a girl and that's when he developed this personality. He made best friends fight!"
Tears filled Erza's eyes. She spoke shakily
"Ul, that girl.... was... me."
"What?"
"Yeah and the two best friends that fought because of Jellal were Natsu and Grey."
"WHAT?! Really?"
"Yeah."
"Anyways, where are you?"
"In the basement."
"I'll be right there."
With that the call ended and Erza realized that she was crying.
Right then she saw Jellal, or rather 'Berserk Jellal'
About to kill Kyouka with a gun.
She got up ignoring the ache that went through her and the fact that her body felt heavy.
She wrapped her arms around Jellal and held him back. She screamed,
"Stop!"
He turned around and looked at Erza.
"Dont kill her!"
Seeing Erza teary eyed, he seemed to go back to his old self. He gave her a smile.
Just then Kyouka shot her gun and the bullet went straight through Jellal's stomach.
Erza's eyes widened at the sight. Instead of her tears increasing, they stopped. She was more furious than sad.
Ultear appeared in the basement and immediately tended to Jellal's wound with first aid.
Erza gave Kyouka a death glare forgetting the pain in her body. She said,
"Now you'll see me go berserk."
