Erza woke up in the hospital. She saw Levy who hugged her as soon as she opened her eyes.
"Er-chan!"
She sobbed.
"Levy! What are you doing here?"
"Ultear-san called me. She told me to tell you that the mission was a success."
Erza gave a sigh of relief.
"Thank god."
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine. Just tired."
"Here I made you a hospital lunchbox."
Erza laughed,
"Hospital Lunchbox?"
"Yeah." Levy said.
"Well then, you should eat, I'll give you some privacy." Levy smiled as she went outside.
Erza took a bite of her lunchbox. Then she remembered, Jellal!
She forgot to ask about him. Erza got up and pushed the curtain on the side of the bed back.
She saw Jellal on the bed next to her. She smiled to see that he seemed fine. He was just resting.
She sat next to him on a stool. She felt that flutter again. She couldn't think of any reason that would happen.
But then she thought, Levy once told me she felt the flutter around Gajeel which was because... Erza gasped as she figured it out. She had feelings for him, which means...
Erza started blushing at the thought. She was in deep thought when Jellal opened his eyes.
"Hey." Erza said.
"Hey."
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah." He said as he sat up straight.
Erza felt tears forming in her eyes. Jellal was shocked to see her cry.
"Hey it isn't your fault."
"But it is..."
Erza didn't finish her sentence when Jellal hugged her.
She was surprised and her heart started beating really fast. She was afraid he would hear it so she pulled away.
"I should probably go tell the others you're awake."
Erza got up and she was about to leave when she felt him grab her arm. She turned around.
"Could you stay here a while longer?" He asked.
"Sure." Said Erza as she sat back on the stool.
She thought if she should confess her feelings but maybe it would be too much for him to handle so she just stayed quite. Until she couldn't hold it in anymore,
"Um.." She stopped because they both had just said the same thing in unison.
"You first..."
"You first..."
"Wait I'll go first." She said.
"I..." Confessing was harder than Erza thought.
"I...l-l-l-ike...y-y...o...u"
Erza was blushing and Jellal was shocked. He then smiled.
"Me too." He said scratching the back of his head.
"What?" Erza said in surprise.
"I like you too." Jellal said blushing.
He leaned closer to Erza until their lips touched. They finally kissed.
