"Erza!" Jellal shouted.
He looked all over for her but she was nowhere to be found. He found a note on his door that said,
'We Have Titania'
He knew instantly that the note was from destruction . He was furious. He also found a weird looking thing which he showed to Grey.
After examining it, Grey told him that it was probably what they used to take Erza. Then their company made replicas of it.
After discussing Erza's situation with the company, it was decided in a meeting that the attack would occur tomorrow and the fifty-senenth floor would be handled by Natsu and Grey while Jellal will look for Erza.
The attack had started, the first team had gone and Jellal had sneaked into the building from the backdoor. The security was definitely tight, he had a hard time getting in.
He hid behind the wall when he heard someones footsteps. He heard them speak.
"Ha, you're kidding. Titania's here?!"
"Oh yeah."
"Wait does that mean she's the one in the basement chamber?"
What's the basement chamber? Jellal thought to himself.
"Yup. Even I feel sorry for her."
With that they both passed by and Jellal thought why would they feel sorry for her?
He needed a way to get there and since the basement did not show up when the buildings security was hacked, meant it could only be opened with face scan like Grey's building.
That was fool-proof, it could not be hacked so Jellal would've had to take someone with access to the floor down there.
The only problem was that that floor was private since it had high security so only the higher ups would have access.
Jellal wasn't sure if he could handle fighting one of the Demon Gates of Tartarus. (What Tartarus' ten most higher ups were called.)
Just then he heard another person's footsteps. He spoke,
"Oh I smell someone."
Jellal was about to make the run for it since this person sounded strong but he appeared in front of Jellal.
"Found you." He gave a disgusting smile.
Jellal recognized the man instantly, He was Tartarus' top Demon Gate 'The Underworld King Mard Geer'.
Why is he here? Thought Jellal but he didn't have enough time to ask.
Mard punched him right in the stomach, Jellal coughed and fell back holding his stomach. Mard was laughing.
"What a scrawny little kid, you must be Grey's nerd." He laughed hysterically.
Jellal tried to punch his face but Mard dodged his attempt and this time kicked him in the face.
Jellal smiled as he once again fell backwards and grabbed Mard's leg in order to make him fall with him.
It worked and Mard fell. He bumped his head on the floor and his face turned red in anger,
"You little!" He screamed.
He grabbed Jellal by the hair and the fact that he was bleeding didn't affect Mard at all. He made a fist ready to punch him but Jellal kicked him.
He dropped him in agony and said annoyed,
"Alright that's it! I'm not holding back."
Jellal got off the floor and took a defensive stance and Mard's face gave him shivers. It looked like he was serious and Jellal could never handle such a strong person.
Before he knew it Mard had already attacked him. Without knowing what had happened Jellal fell and felt pain all over his body.
Mard kicked him until he coughed blood. He was bleeding all over.
Mard gave a hideous grin
"That'll teach you to mess with me."
Jellal's vision was growing dark and blurry. He started having flashbacks about his time with Erza and that snapped him back to reality.
He got up.
"You can still get up. I'll admit I'm surprised. But you're gonna wish you hadn't."
Mard was smiling but his eyes widened when he heard Jellal smile and say,
"Oh, isn't it the other way around?"
Jellal glanced towards Mard's leg which had something stuck to it. The same thing that knocked Erza out.
"When did you...?" Were Mard's last words as he fainted.
"Tartarus isn't the only one with fancy technology. We did steel your idea though.
Jellal somehow made it to the elevator without being spotted. He pressed the basement button and managed to hold up Mard for the scanning machine.
Jellal got to the basement and the sight before him made him drop dead in his footsteps.
It was Erza tied up, she was obviously tortured because she was covered in cuts and her eyes were closed.
Jellal went to her and woke her up,
"Erza wake up."
After seeing that she opened her eyes he asked,
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah..I'm fine" She said sounding tired.
"Let's go come on."
Jellal said after untying Erza and lending her a shoulder so she could walk better.
Then a woman appeared. Erza recognized her, she was the one who brought her here.
"My my, you must be Jellal. I'm Kyouka 'The Star Slave Princess'."
"Did you do that to Erza?!"
"And what if I did?"
Jellal clenched his teeth in anger. He set Erza down and cracked his knuckles. To Erza he seemed like a different person, she wondered why."
She heard Jellal say,
"You will wish you were never born." He gave an evil grin.
