Me- they found his body?
Logan- No Ellie, they found him
Me- where?
Logan- apparently that night he left, his car broke down and he hitch hiked to a bar. He met a girl and started a new life.
Me- so he completely forgot about me?
Logan- he was drunk when he met her. They went back to her place and he stayed there. Apparently he was gonna come back for you until he found out she was pregnant with his child. So he moved out of state.
Me- un-fucking believable. I could have died. I was alone in that house for almost 3 days before social services took me away. I remember pleaded for them not to take me because I thought he would come back.
Logan- I know, you would always take me and Jake there sometimes to wait. To see if he would come.
Me- and turns out he started his life over with another girl.
Logan- I wasn't finished. Police said that the girl had a miscarriage and he disappeared. He just showed back up in Ohio yesterday. Mom told me he went back to the old house to look for you.
I didn't notice that I was crying while texting him. "Ellie! What's wrong? You're crying!" Jonah said. "It's nothing." I said. Jonah could tell I didn't wanna talk about it so he didn't push it. "He's awake!" I heard Corbyn yell. We ran into Daniels room to see a half awake Daniel. "Ellie, I don't know what happened but-" He started. I hugged him. "You're brave Daniel, standing up to Logan like that." I stopped him. I turned to see Jonah kinda frustrated. Was he jealous? "What did Logan want anyway?" Jack asked us. "Oh nothing" I said. They all looked at me confused. I gotta text notification. "Hey looks like you got your phone back!" Zach said. "Speaking of which...." Jonah started. He was patting his pockets. "Dang it" he said. I laughed. "I saw it on the kitchen table downstairs. I wanted to see how long it took you to notice." I laughed. He smiled and then ran downstairs. Daniel sat up. He put a hand on his head. "Ow!" He whined. I looked at his head for injuries. "Just a nice knot." I said. He touched it. "Ah! That feels weird!" He whined. "It's a knot on your head! Of course that's gonna feel weird!" I chuckled. He smiled. Zach coughed to remind us they were still here. "Were just gonna leave" he joked. And then the boys walked out. "Were alone" Daniel joked. I gave him a kiss on the cheek. He blushed. "What was that for?" He asked. "A thank you for standing up to Logan." I said. He smiled. Did I have feelings for him? No! Ellie, you don't want that to happen again!! Not after Harrison. "So what now?" He asked. "I guess you don't wanna go back there" he said. "No! I'm not going back to Logans, at least not until he calms down. One. He stole my phone for 'protective reasons'. Two. He sent me to Jakes because he didn't trust me alone. Three. He knocked you out cold!" I said. Daniel hugged me. "You can stay here as long as you want!" He said. We all decided to watch movies for the rest of the day. At one point Jonah put his arm around me. I laid my head on his chest. It was comfortable, I didn't mind it. I saw Daniel shoot Jonah a look. What's the deal with them? I know Daniel said they both like me, so are they fighting over me? I must have fell asleep. I woke up to someone carrying me, I pretended I was still asleep. They laid me down on the bed and then they laid down. Then we both fell asleep.
